This stay is truly incredible. We had sloths outside of the house, saw poison dart frogs, heard howler monkeys, saw bats. Truly a nature lovers paradise. The starlink connection was fantastic! My bf and I were able to work remotely without issue. The sea here does have jellyfish so you have to be careful, and it does get extremely hot/humid (there is no AC, only fans). If you are okay with very simple accomodations / living, then you will really enjoy this place. We drove about 45 minutes to Changuinola to get groceries (we stayed for 3 weeks) so we needed a bigger supermarket. A great place to enjoy nature and Mary was always super responsive!

My goal was to sit on an island and become one with the sloths. I achieved that goal with my stay here. The entire staff is wonderful – Leo and Esther and especially Andrea. Juan and Sara helped organize my stay and I cannot thank them enough!

Ok wow this place was absolutely amazing! It was my dream to stay at an over the water bungalow and this exceeded all my expectations. Your own little paradise on a tropical island. Jump right off the front porch to swim in a great reef. Stunning views of the lagoon and mountains and sunsets. Michelle is a wonderful person and I am blessed to meet her. She helped me out with everything, gave great advice, and I met more amazing people at De La Luna and through her. This bungalow is ideal if you are staying long by being a digital nomad. You get a great peaceful place to sleep and work at. Then if you want to go to town and party you take the water taxi in right from the front porch. Bocas town is a blast so stay there for a bit then come right back to paradise. Also two restaurants and a store right in kayaking distance. Staying in Isa & Flo’s Casita Margarita was an unforgettable experience! The place is truly a hidden paradise, with stunning views, absolute tranquility, and fantastic hosts. We loved kayaking through the mangroves, relaxing in hammocks, and enjoying the amazing food—including freshly caught tuna. Isa & Flo made us feel so welcome, and their hospitality was exceptional. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in nature, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!
