The house is located along Shiragawa river Sanjo Kyoto. One of the most attractive point is the open-air Shiragakiyaki Pottery bath. Shiragakiyaki is traditional craft, a type of stoneware pottery thriving from Muromachi Period. The kiln is one of the Six Ancient Kilns in Japan.
