Welcome to Friese Wergea, located within cycling distance of Leeuwarden, the Alde Feanen National Park and the water sports village of Grou. Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. It is uniquely furnished, with plenty of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room. Breakfast included.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Historic farmhouse from 1864, centrally located between the Veluwe forests, heaths and sand drifts and the Veluwemeer the lake surrounding the new land of the polders. Enjoy the space, nature, tranquility and old fishing villages, while cities such as Zwolle, Amersfoort and Amsterdam are easily accessible. The house is equipped with every comfort and a large garden is available for the guests. We have room for 1-6 guests. We do serve an extensive and as much as possible organic breakfast.

The house has a nice shower and bathroom, floor heating, kitchen, Nespresso, microwave, mini oven and terrace with view over the garden. Rent the motorboat, bikes or go supping at the lake. In a couple of minutes you can enjoy the beautiful nature and lakes close by. Also pick up and return to the airport can be requested for an extra fee.
