Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Detached holiday home by the water.

Very luxuriously furnished holiday home directly on the water with a 13 meter long jetty for a sailboat or fishing boat (also for rent). Within a few minutes you can sail to the Volkerak. The water is also connected to the Haringvliet and the HD. The house is centrally located for a day in Grevelingenstrand (5 min.) or the Noorzeestrand (20 min.). Also cozy towns in Zeeland are not too far away. The city of Rotterdam, which is popular for tourists, is only 25 minutes away by car.

Our vacation home can accommodate up to 4 adults, the bunk bed is only for children. The holiday home is located on a small-scale quiet holiday park, this park is located on a large swimming lake with many hiking and cycling routes. It is a quiet park, where people come for their rest and not to party. The property has a large garden with full privacy, with a fire pit and a pizza oven. In short, a perfect place to enjoy!

You will stay in a former forge from + -1870 in a beautiful, historic and very quiet environment. This "Smidse" has been converted into a modern, cozy, very complete and spacious house. Ideal as a base for various natural or sporting trips, or as your 'home away from home' when you temporarily need a second home. Outside is a modest terrace overlooking an old uninhabited parsonage. Dit mooie, compleet ingerichte huis in boederijstijl, ligt aan de Kagerplassen in de buurt van Amsterdam en Leiden. Het heeft twee slaapkamers, een badkamer en een apart toilet. Vanuit de woonkamer kun je genieten van de prachtige zondondergangen. In de omgeving kun je wandelingen maken langs weilanden en molens. Het heeft een eigen aanlegsteiger. We verhuren ook nog vier andere huisjes aan het water!

The house is totally renovated. The garden is on the waterfront and the view is amazing! It's located on the best spot in Town. Just a 1 min walk to the famous harbour of Hoorn, and the historic city center is just a 3 min walk away. There you find the central square 'de Roode Steen' with all the bars and cosy restaurants.
