Lake house holiday rentals in New Haven

Nikki welcomed us with open arms & we fell in love with her home immediately! Her home is like a museum! Everything was perfect…very clean, great location & everything we hoped for on our lil get away.

We had a fantastic stay! Johanna and her husband were extremely friendly, helpful, and graciously hospitable. We felt very welcomed. They were very responsive to a few requests we had and even made up a futon as an extra bed when asked about sleeping arrangements for my family of five. We had a great time roasting s’mores over a campfire by the pond and my son caught his first fish. Great memories! On our next visit to Fairfield, this will be the first rental I will be looking for.

The Perch is perfect for a cozy getaway. Really feels like a home away from home. You can easily spend your days just enjoying the perch and all it has to offer, as well as go out and explore all the great surrounding areas! Walking around downtown New Milford and lounging by the lake were big highlights of our stay. We never had a dull moment! Casey is such a great host, always communicative and helpful. Her guides have everything you need to know and even have great recommendations for things in the nearby areas. We loved our stay!

Our stay at Vanessa's house was tranquil and picturesque. The washing machine broke down a few days before our arrival, but Vanessa remained on top of it, and made sure it was in working order before we checked in, which we appreciated tremendously. We couldn't beat the view of the water and only wish it had been a bit warmer so that we could have appreciated the gorgeous back porch area. Thank you, Vanessa!

My reservation at another property was mysteriously cancelled 3 days before my family's wedding. After 24 hours of back and forth with Airbnb, Mary saved the day and worked with myself and airbnb to get me rebooked into her amazing family home. She was an angel!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jonathan’s place, especially because he allowed us to bring our dogs! Comfortable furniture, cool location across from the marina, and a peaceful backyard. Thank you!!

This place is sublime. Beautifully furnished and styled, this is possibly the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Feels much more like a home than a rental. Serene and quiet with a deck and stone terrace overlooking the pond, the sounds of the waterfall, birds and the wind in the trees are perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing stay. The expansive living room, dining area and kitchen flow well together and make for a fantastic social space with direct access to the terrace. And the whole place is a delightful blend of historic charm and modern living. The open fireplaces add a whole other level of charm. The kitchen is also really well equipped with a good array of spices, condiments Rd nets and more for anyone looking to cook (which we did). Erin is also a great host. Highly responsive and very helpful. We were a party of 5 and we all agreed we want to return.

Barbara was an excellent host, very accommodating to our needs particularly with check-in time. Her home was the perfect place for our traveling family members to stay to attend our son's wedding. Very clean with all the amenities as described. Although my family members spent the majority of their time at my house to attend all the weekend wedding festivities, they were very comfortable and enjoyed their stay at Barbara's house . Thank you so much Barbara for sharing your home with us!

The house is well maintained. It has an unreal view of the lake that is so serene. A very quiet area.

This was a great little off-season getaway spot. Super-quiet. Very private. Well-lit and cozy. The host was friendly and his instructions were clear. I would definitely return for another weekend stay!

I was looking for a place to housed my family for a stressful memorial service weekend. The uniqueness of the property was the catalyst for good fun and conversation for family that have not seen each other much in the past year. Thank you for the great distraction.

FLAWLESS!!!!! Beautiful house over looking the lake, with good taste, spotless and cozy. We were a group of 8 friends celebrating that 3 of us turned 50, we had an amazing time chilling out in the garden, having great conversations, eating and laughing in that beautiful house. Gianna was very responsive and the house looks exactly as the pictures. There’s not much privacy in the garden because there’s no fence but no one was there so we had a great time. We definitely recommend it and would love to be back!!

Enjoyed our stay. The place matched the description and the pictures. It is in a nice, quiet area. There is a supermarket right around the corner. Gas stations and Starbucks are not far away, either. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The living and dining rooms get lots of natural light. One thing to note is that while the address shows up in a Google maps search, the final destionation the app takes you to is a few houses down, on a different street. But it was easy enough to figure out, and other navigation apps had no issue. Would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

This area is where I grew up, and I love East Hampton. I return 2-3x a year, and this was the best visit we’ve had come by home in a long time. It was worth the price, even though it was off season and we spent a lot of time visiting family over the holiday. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, it was better than we expected! A lot of work went into this place and it really shows. Parking was sparse but we worked everything out. (Our travel plans required us to pull a car trailer at the last minute.) Our hosts were very accommodating with our dog, which is very much appreciated. Wonderful experience. We’d love to return!

Really enjoyed our stay at Tom’s place. The house is so charming, quiet surrounding and very private. It was a perfect place to stay for three of us as a little gate away. When you have any question, Tom gets back to you very quick. Also access to the private lake club across the street was such a bonus. We enjoyed going there, swim, lay on the sandy beach…. Love to come back and stay again. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

This was a great location for our family of 7. There were enough beds, good amenities, and it was a great location to get down to the Connecticut River. It was centrally located and we were able to explore many cities in CT due to the location. The hosts were extremely responsive and the home was well-maintained.

Very nice location, plus some cardio getting up hill, hehe. We felt that for that week, the house was ours. Wish we could see the beautiful surroundings in summer or the height of autumn.

Geaninna’s home was beautiful. My partner and I enjoyed our stay. The view to the lake while it was snowing was such a beauty, it was a peaceful stay. We look forward to booking again in the future. Geaninna was a great host, friendly and responded quickly.

Beautiful accommodations in a very convenient location! Right near the wedding we traveled to attend. We all enjoyed family meals in the spacious dining area and had plenty of room to cook together. Our family loves the out doors and the small pond, abundant trees and fire pit were a real plus! Highly recommend this Airbnb 🤓

What a unique fun house to stay in with cute local towns to visit! Our kids loved it and they are all teenagers! Zip line, yard games, books, so many fun areas to explore in and out of the house! We all loved it! My 13 year old wants to vacation here every year now! :)

We had such a great long weekend! We brought our family with kids ranging from 1-11 years old and each had a blast, lake was easy to access and gorgeous! House was exactly as described! House and neighborhood were peaceful, relaxing, and clean! Kitchen had everything needed. My kids are already asking to come back!
