We had a truly wonderful experience staying at Stonelands. Christine was incredibly generous and kind—she upgraded our booking to an entire house at no extra charge, which was such a lovely surprise. After spending a few days in hotel rooms, staying in this cosy house felt like a breath of fresh air. It was spacious, comfortable, and made us feel completely at home. Each evening, our host thoughtfully set the breakfast table, and in the morning we enjoyed a delicious, homemade breakfast that made our days start on such a positive note. She also gave us fantastic recommendations for local cafés, restaurants, and tourist spots, which really helped us make the most of our stay. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and home-like experience.

I stayed here whilst visiting family locally. The room and ensuite were immaculately clean very comfortable and nicely furnished. The shower was huge and worked well. There was the added bonus of a microwave minifridge plates bowls and utensils giving the flex to eat out or grab food in. Wifi worked well. All very welcome as I stayed on my own. Amelia was very welcoming and kind when I needed help with a medical issue. The room was superb value compared to local hotels. I also used the train from penmere making falmouth town and truro easy to get to and taxis were cheap easy and friendly. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a valentines get away here and it was exactly what we needed. The place was easy to find with detailed instructions from the host. Communication was quick and responsive, especially when we had to adjust our arrival time due to weather/roadworks. When we arrived Tony had lit the fire for us which was perfect. He had also laid out some fresh bread, butter and jam (and the cupboards had lots of condiments, salt/pepper, oil etc) Due to the weather we mostly stayed put and enjoyed the log burner and relaxed setting. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were of high quality. We did walk into the village to get provisions, which took about 40 mins each way with some steep climbs. Tony was really friendly and welcoming and we’d definitely visit again.

we had a lovely 1 night stay at the Bunkhouse, it was very handy for me & my 3 kids - & a short drive from beautiful Seaton beach which we loved. we ate at the beach house cafe was delicious. if you are coming with kids pls note the Bunkhouse property is up a steep hill so best to drive to beach & back rather than walk!!

Friendly hostess, easy parking, spacious bedroom/lounge. Beautiful gardens and an outside space to sit. Near shops. Convenient for local beaches and foot ferry to Padstow.

Julia and Chris are the best hosts a holiday-maker could ask for - they greeted us at the gate, gave us excellent recommendations, and even got us to the ferry when the rains came down! They were consistently responsive, friendly, and welcoming. They know the area well and we're able to help on multiple fronts. Genuinely one of the most stress-free and spectacular holidays we have had :) Thank you both for your awesome hospitality!

Sophie and Joe are great hosts. They are kind, friendly and they offer far more than expected. The property is absolutely beautiful. It's also the best equipped airbnb we've stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The location and views are stunning. The heated floor in the bathroom is fantastic! We loved every aspect of this property and, if Sophie and Joe will have us back, we will be back every year.

Spent last week in Cornwall at Melanie’s was wonderful. It provided a lasting memory of Cornwall for me. My friend had a relaxing week and enjoyed visiting Cornwall. Coming back to Melanie’s place after going around is wonderful and peaceful. Very spacious and plenty of space to chat and gather with friends or family. Host/s are very responsive and they really help out.

A great Airbnb! We felt very at home at the hideaway and couldn’t rate the stay or the hosts highly enough. The view from the back garden is absolutely amazing and the extra outdoor space is great, especially with the dog. We loved the kitchen/living area, it is so homely and a great space! The village is so welcoming, would highly recommend both the local cafe and pub as the food was excellent!

We had a lovely stay with Nicole. Communication was excellent and we felt very welcome. The pool and hot tub was lovely, our non-verbal autistic son loved using them. Accommodation was very clean and the extra amenities were really appreciated.

Alex and Anthony’s place is a little oasis for couples visiting Cornwall. Alex is extremely helpful and Anthony’s taxi service and local knowledge simply brilliant. We would highly recommend and hope to be back soon.

The annex is perfect for one or two people for a short trip. It’s small but has everything you might need. The surf store is really useful to store wet suits and boards, and you’re very close to Fistral Beach to catch some waves. Sarah was very responsive and great to communicate with, and even managed to let me check in a few hours early when I arrived. Thanks for a great stay Sarah!

The white cottage is an ideal place for someone wanting to visit Newquay. The room was lovely and served us perfectly for our two night stay. It is clear that a lot of care went into preparing the room for our stay. This was evident due to all the amenities supplied to us, including milk, coffee, tea and shower supplies! The location is also perfect as it is a small walk from the nearest beach and the town itself. Not to mention it being highly affordable. Thank you for having us!

Perfect base for a wedding we were attending at the Harbour Hotel. Short walk into town but easy enough to get a taxi if you want to take it easy. Accommodation has been nicely done, well equipped and the bonus of a parking space which is a real premium in St Ives. Would happily recommend and stay again.

Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable everything you could wish for. Off road parking. Quiet. Patio to sit with a glass or cup of tea. Lovely welcoming pack. 10 min walk to Marazion. Lucy is very welcoming and helpful. Do not hesitate book you wont be disappointed

Excellent little apartment, less than 15min from the train station, perfectly close to town. it has all you need.

Lovely small suite ideal for a short stay.

Firstly we loved the accommodation it was clean and had everything you may need. Secondly the best part, the view of St Michael’s Mount was incredible, day and night it was fantastic to be able to have the luxury of such a great view. Lastly the local town was enjoyable from the Cutty sark for a lovely evening meal to the beachfront bar Godolphin. All in all coming from a heavy city environment to this little annex at the bottom of our country it was a refreshing and relaxing trip! Thanks Sarah and Rob for having us we look forward to returning in the future!

A lovely place to stay, wish I could have stayed there longer!

A last minute change to my original accommodation plans meant that I needed somewhere to stay quickly. This was the perfect find and suited my needs exactly and was also much nicer than where I was going to stay! I know the area well so it was fun to see it from a different angle and in such a lovely setting. The place is very private, set in beautiful rural Lizard with walks to the stunning coastline from the doorstep. The recommendations in the file were very helpful and I visited a couple of new places as a result. Many thanks to Nick & Helen for providing such a lovely hideaway!

The location is truly breathtaking—an ideal setting for a peaceful and restorative getaway. Evenings were particularly magical, with the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore and the gentle aroma of the log burner creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both nearby pubs, The Lugger Inn and The Russell Inn, were delightful. The Russell Inn stood out in particular, offering excellent food and a well-curated selection of beers. The bar staff and local patrons were incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxed and genuinely enjoyable experience. 100% recommended!!

The space is very nice with lots of character. The furniture is modern and comfy and the kitchen had what we needed. The outdoor space was good for letting the dog have a quick runaround in the mornings. The walk into town is quick and although it’s steep back up(as with most of Fowey) it’s not that bad, plus there’s a handy signposted route for prams which we used.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful property set in beautiful countryside and Jon and Vic were super helpful, friendly and responsive. Highlights were the stunning views from the kitchen/dining window, the wood burner and the amazingly comfortable bed. If you want a relaxing hideaway close to amazing beaches and restaurants this is for you.

From the moment we arrived and was greeted with a smile from Clair we felt right at home. stepped into the Snug and loved it . Felt like home and comphy from the get go ..nice walk down hill to the town and lovely walks around and shops to visit . we recommend to others ,go and relax and explore beautiful Boscastle .
