Monthly Rentals in Nīnole

Great little place in the beautiful forests of the wet side of the big island. Awesome lanai that looks over the waterfall and swimming hole- made it nice to enjoy a meal outside, even in the rain. So relaxing falling asleep to the sound of frogs and the waterfall. (Swimming hole not really accessible for toddlers due to having to get in near the steep rocks of the waterfall). Hosts and caretaker went out their way with recommendations and to help us find the place even when we arrived late. If you want privacy, peace, and tranquility, this is your spot. Zipline was great fun. Thanks Pete, Elizabeth, and Jeff!!

The family and I had an an absolutely amazing time staying at this cabin on the farm. The waterfall basically in the backyard was beautiful and secluded, we swam at it almost every evening. Rachel and Dan were great hosts, incredibly responsive and the farm chocolate tour was fun and full of great information (and great chocolate, of course). Also, having the farmstand right there with fresh eggs, fruits and gluten free cookies was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome stay at Hale Hamakua! We had a large group of us come from Oahu, Maui, and Kona to celebrate a 30th birthday! Plenty of beds, spacious kitchen, and scenic lanai. Drive to Hilo takes a bit (around 30 min one way) but very worth it for the seclusion and view. We would stay here again!

A wonderful experience overall. Very unique location. Very open to the wonderful Hawaiian nature. Highly recommend to those looking for something secluded and off the beaten path. Excellent, friendly host.
