In addition, there are a number of downhill ski slopes and cross-country ski trails available in winter. By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

The 2-storey property consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Please note that 2 of the sleeping accommodations are mattresses with slatted frames. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, infrared heating, a fireplace, a smart TV with streaming services as well as children's books and toys.

From the house and from the terrace, you have an unobstructed beautiful distant view of the valley. The house is fully equipped. Our house is located in Rüdenschwinden in one of the most beautiful low mountain ranges in Germany. Rüdenschwinden is a small, charming village not far from the Schwarzes Moor and Fladungen. The vacation home is detached and surrounded by a 600 square meter, fully fenced garden. Here everyone will find a place to relax, play or linger. Dogs are also welcome. The property has a car parking space. From the two balconies you can enjoy a scenic view.

Our aim is to welcome guests with a dog as well as the ones without into a friendly, cosy atmosphere. The appartment is at the edge of Oberelsbach - ideally for hikes. Basic shopping is possible and there is a nice café, a gas station and a pharmacy. Hiking and Cycling trails start directly from the house. But also there are bus lines which opperate in different directions as well as right into the heart of the hiking area.

In the 2-story accommodation, the bathroom, a bedroom, and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the first floor. Upstairs are another bedroom and the living room. The quiet garden invites you to linger and relax. Two sun loungers are also available in summer. Feel free to use the organic herbs and vegetables from the in-house greenhouse. Frankenheim/Rhön is the ideal starting point for both city and nature excursions.
