Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Holland

We were very warmly welcomed by Karin and her husband and also the contact during our stay there was very pleasant! Thank you! The two were very flexible with the check-in/check-out times. The house was very clean and there was nothing missing. It's very quiet and you can make great excursions by bike. Cycling through the beautiful flower fields was fantastic! You can also do the trips to the beach/sea by bike. There is great beach clubs with delicious food. The nearby town of Leiden is also worth a visit. Such as Delft, Haarlem or Utrecht. All well accessible by car.

The house has all the comforts. Anything you need is present in ample quantity. The gas fireplace completes it all. The garden is nicely landscaped with various corners and spacious seating options. Hosts Debbie and Frits ensure a hassle-free check-in and check-out. Great stay!

Beautiful cottage. In reality, it looks just as beautiful as the pictures. For our city trip to Amsterdam with a desire for tranquility, enjoy the perfect combination of proximity to the metro station and as a balance of nature.

Wonderful cottage, perfect for getaway with 2. Is in the garden of Ellen’s beautiful house, but still very private due to the trees and plants.

We spent three nights in Romaike's beautiful house in Alkmaar and felt very comfortable coming in. It is located in a cozy residential area and both the large supermarket and downtown are within walking distance. The house is individual, harmonious and imaginatively furnished, very clean and it has everything you need to feel comfortable. We would like to thank you so much for letting us stay with Romaike. All the information from her was accurate and detailed and the contact very friendly.

A home with wonderful character! Great communication with a Super Host!

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

We spent an amazing 4 days in the apartment celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday. Everyone loved the apartment, the views are to die for, great amenities, high quality furniture and plenty of spaces to sit and relax, even in winter. Would love to come back!

A top accommodation, a whole experience

Awesome location, comfortable bed. Hosts enjoy taking care of their place and guests. The check-in was in person and no self check-in option available but hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with.

What a wonderful stay! The Slow was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described with great location. We loved seeing the neighbor sheep roam around! Marit was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy. Would love to stay again and highly recommend!

It's a nice small apartment for 2+2 person. The beach takes about 5-10min with the free bike, what was provided by the host/condominium. It was easy to park as Lisette told us, she registered our car not to pay any parking fee. We just stayed one night in April, so it was still calm the neighborhood, the whole town. The communication with Lisette was easy!

Julie was such a friendly host. We had a great time at her amazing place. It was very well equipped and had a wonderful view on the dunes as well on the beach. We would love to come again in the future. Thank you for everything, Julie! :)

We spent 10 long days in Zaandam while preparing and working in a fair. Margot has been absolutely great in taking care of us, and it's the space was good although smaller than expected (and quite cold even with heating..). Note: you are in Zaandam, not Amsterdam.. but it's a lovely area and very well connected with trains which gets you everywhere but will take around half an hour to get to Amsterdam Central. Quite honestly Zaandam was such a cute town! very pleasant and with everything you need. In case you don't have to go to Amsterdam, you got everything there.. If I'd have to give a feedback, I would personally need a stove in an apartment, even if small (2 stoves are enough) people have to be able to cook for themselves if needed. I missed an home cooked meal! All considered, good stay and great hosts you will be in good hands.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

A beautiful house in a stunning location!

Don't have a bad word to say about the place. From the moment I booked the host was very responsive, gave us helpful suggestions for local amenities and online shopping. Was there to greet us and welcome us to her lovely home. The house is beautiful and is set in beautiful surroundings close enough to Amsterdam to enjoy the city but also enjoy the peace outside of it. Murielle was responsive enough to be available whenever we needed without being overbearing. If I was travelling back to Amsterdam with a large group I wouldn't hesitate to book again. The accommodation is particularly Cozy , very nice to spend the evening there. If you like board games, nice round table in the living room to Play ... Quiet neighborhood. Accommodation close to the train station and restaurants. The city itself is very pretty . Finally, Marius gives all the useful information. A place and a place that I would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely location; the owner’s family live next door and are very welcoming and friendly! Wander Island is a really good restaurant. Lake is wonderful. Only 30 mins from Amsterdam by Park and Ride.

Amazing property, photos on Airbnb don’t actually do the house justice! We were shocked at the amount of space and interior details. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting in a large group

My family of 5 had a wonderful time at this home! It was beautiful, clean, relaxing and extremely convenient to get around town via bus/metro. We walked every morning around town because the town is extremely charming with several restaurants and a market 2 blocks away. I made breakfast every morning in the beautiful kitchen which had everything one would need. The host was so incredibly amazing, he tracked my flight and knew I would be arriving hours before I told him I would be so he was waiting for us which was amazing after a long flight. He was so sweet, courteous and caring. We were greeted with a warm welcome and many, many treats for us in the refrigerator. From eggs, milk, selection of fresh breads, sweets, fruit, wine, a delicious pear juice, selection of deli meats, butter, and many more items. The warmest welcome we’ve ever received. As if that’s not enough, the AC worked great! The pics don’t do it justice. This is a must stay! Thank you so much for everything!!
