Great berry picking, mushroom picking, fishing, and hunting grounds right at the cottage door (purse-lacla). The cottage has electricity. Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, jongun river, bear trail, and recreational fishing and hiking area. ask for autumn weekends with a message, they are negotiable even though they are provisionally closed for your own use. No access to running water during freezing weather.

This is a perfect accommodation for guests interested in sports and exercise. 400 m to the ski slope and sledding slope, 5 km to Ukko-Koli ski slopes, a rich and diverse network of trails in the national park. Koli village services about 2.5 km. Next to the cottage, there are good fishing opportunities and sandy beaches within a short boat trip (rowing boat available). The beach is in its natural state, suitable for swimming and has clear water that deepens.

The core idea of the place is: “Everyone is a hermit at heart” – a place to reset the mind and clear your thoughts. The cabin, built from old smoke sauna logs, is located in the lake landscape of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and natural wilderness experience for couples and travellers seeking peace and quiet.

A charming log cabin for rent on the shores of the wild and fishy Lake Koitere. On a beautiful pine plot, there is a magnificent sandy beach and a campfire site with good views of the lake. Next to the beach there is a private sauna building, which also has a sleeping barn. The barn has sleeping accommodations for two people and a fireplace. On the beach, a rowboat that is freely available. The beach is shallow and sandy. The cottage is not new, but has the patina of time in the structures (60 years old).

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Cozyly decorated, beach side three-bedroom log cabin in a cozy villa area. The windows and yard of a 78 square meter (59m2 +19m2) cottage offer stunning views of Pielinen. The dock is about 30 meters away, so a dip from the sauna to the lake is great! There is a fixed cast grill in the lawn yard, plus a Weber gas grill. During the summer season, you'll have access to a rowing boat (€20/visit) and a paddleboard (free of charge). In the heat, a new air source heat pump keeps the cottage cool.

Villa LHJ Heinämäki

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing with a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels. If necessary, linen can be arranged by the accommodation.
