In a cottage on the shore of a steamy woman, you get to spend a vacation with a unique lake landscape. The wood-burning sauna has soft steam and a view of the lake. Underfloor heating and fireplace heat in winter. Preparing food with the Airfryer, in the microwave, or on the terrace on a gas barbecue. Drinking water can be obtained directly from the kitchen faucet. Guests have access to the entire cottage, which includes sleeping accommodation for two, a sauna, a toilet and a small kitchen. Secluded cottage at the tip of the headland

A hidden gem by the pond, built in private seclusion on the tip of a headland by Vuorineuvos S.A. Tervo, offers a glimpse into history. This atmospheric, electrified cottage offers peace and quiet in the heart of nature, yet is only about 15 km from the amenities of the town of Nurmes (Bomba and Hyvärilä are about a 10-minute drive away). The shallow, fish-rich pond offers excellent recreational opportunities, and the surrounding area provides good mushroom and berry picking grounds. An idyllic destination for a family holiday in a cottage too!

Erakkomaja Savukallio – Off-Grid

Do you miss stopping in the middle of nature? Savukallio is a Lappish-style wilderness cabin that invites you to breathe deeply and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin, built from old smoke sauna logs, is located in the lake landscape of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and natural wilderness experience for couples and travellers seeking peace and quiet.

Kolilainen Tiny House

Hulppea's impressive log villa for holidays, meetings and remote work for visitors who love nature, tranquillity and the atmosphere of the hills. The multi-level house is great for family celebrations, but not for parties for safety reasons. Pielinen beach, cycling and walking routes and ski trails are nearby, a 15-minute drive from the shop, scenic spots, hiking trails, the harbour and other places to visit. Kolilainen is an experience to be had for yourself (and an animal-free, allergy-friendly house)!

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. For those interested, we will be happy to introduce the arboretums during the visit. The household includes two Lapphunds, a cat, a rooster and 6 hens. Breakfast available

Log cabin on the shore of Lake Pielinen

Beautiful log house on the shore of Lake Pielinen. A quiet location, stunning scenery and good outdoor opportunities best describe this place. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Although our small, modern and stylish sauna cabin is part of our residential courtyard, here you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful views. There are excellent fishing opportunities on the lake. What's more, the location is ideal for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing with a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Kuohu - sauna cabin on the shore of a rapid

Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.

A beach cottage in a great location on the shores of the clear-watered and fish-filled Höytiäinen. Close to the golf course, a wide range of outdoor activities in both summer and winter. Ski trail next to it. 50 km to Koli, 20 km to Joensuu. 8 km to the center of Kontiolahti. In Kontiolahti, there is a lively harbor in the summer, with a café and activities on weekends.
