It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outer side of the adventure island Senja. You can't get closer to nature - with a glass facade of almost 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while sitting inside. Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
