The Trullo Apulia is an exclusive property, made by recovering an original ancient historic domed house (called "Trullo Saraceno"), enriched by swimming pool, Jacuzzi and steam room for private use, in a scenic location, just 2 km from Ostuni and 10 km from the beautiful beaches of Puglia. It can accommodate up to 8 people. Note: the reservation fee does not include consumptions of electricity (0.50€/kWh), gas (5€/m3) and the tourist tax (1€/day for each person for the first 5 days) that will be calculated and paid at the end of your stay. Ideale per 2 famiglie di amici che, fatta salva la privacy, possono godere di momenti comuni di relax e divertimento, può anche essere utilizzata come unica unità abitativa, utilizzando una delle due zone living come terza camera da letto matrimoniale. Tutti gli ambienti della casa sono climatizzati e dispongono di connessione internet WiFi. Gli ospiti hanno a disposizione un parcheggio privato. L’intera struttura ha una capacità ricettiva massima di 8 posti letto, mettendo a disposizione dei suoi ospiti ben 4 bagni, di cui 2 interni completi, un’area benessere con bagno turco, aromaterapia, ampia vasca idromassaggio (che si affaccia su una suggestiva parete rocciosa), doccia emozionale con cromoterapia e servizi igienici ed 1 bagno esterno (water+lavandino) con doccia. L’esclusiva piscina a sfioro di acqua salata con idromassaggio è immersa nel verde della macchia mediterranea. Questa oasi di privacy e di relax dispone di tutto il necessario, inclusa una Zona solarium, la doccia esterna ed il bagno di pertinenza. La profondità dell’acqua della piscina risponde ai requisiti di legge per garantire la massima sicurezza anche dei più piccoli. Molteplici sono gli spazi esterni arredati e le ambientazioni minimal chic che consentono agli ospiti di pranzare o cenare su un ampia terrazza panoramica ombreggiata da un gazebo cannucciato o di gustare, appena svegli, una ricca prima colazione all’aperto, in un’area attrezzata proprio davanti alla portafinestra della propria camera da letto, respirando i profumi dei campi, nell’intimità della luce del primo mattino. Il complesso abitativo è frutto di una recentissima ristrutturazione di costruzioni dal valore storico (il Trullo Saraceno dalla caratteristica cupola bianca è ancora più antico del trullo a cono), in cui il sapiente recupero dei materiali, delle tecniche e dei canoni tipici dell’architettura e della storia pugliese, hanno consentito un restauro di interni ed esterni che mantenesse una linea fortemente evocativa e rispettosa dei luoghi, anche nell’arredamento dai colori chiari e naturali, studiati con la massima attenzione ai dettagli e costituito da pezzi unici e originali. Il fascino della location non conosce paragoni: la costruzione si affaccia su un giardino terrazzato caratterizzato dai tipici muretti a secco, oltre i quali si apre, a perdita d’occhio, su un’area di circa 6.000 mq di pertinenza esclusiva della casa, una valle di magnifici ulivi secolari su terra rossa. The whole structure can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. The Trullo Apulia combines the unmistakable Mediterranean style with modern comforts, for a unique atmosphere and original stay based on relaxation, privacy and natural wellbeing. The structure consists of 2 units (trullo with 3 cones + lamia) totally independent, but communicating with each other, separated by a lockable door. Each unit includes a dining room with fireplace, satellite TV LED and a double sofa bed, full kitchen with appliances (fridge-freezer, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, small appliances) and a bedroom with a private bathroom, complete emotional shower for color therapy. Ideal for two families of friends who, preserving their privacy, can enjoy common relaxation and fun moments, can also be used as a single unit, using one of the two living areas as a third bedroom. All rooms in the house have air conditioning and WiFi internet access. Guests have access to a private car park. The whole structure has a maximum capacity of 8 beds, offering its guests: 4 bathrooms, of which 2 complete in the house and 2 external, a wellness area with steam room, aromatherapy, whirlpool bath (which overlooks a picturesque rock wall), emotional color therapy shower, toilet and outside 1 external bathroom (water + basin) with shower. The unique infinity pool with salt water with whirlpool is surrounded by Mediterranean greenery. This oasis of privacy and relaxation has everything you need, including a solarium area, outdoor shower and bathroom. The pool water depth meets the legal requirements to ensure maximum safety of children. The guests can dine on a wide panoramic terrace, surrounded by external spaces furnished in a minimal chic style, shaded by a gazebo. They can also taste, in the outdoor equipped area in front of his bedroom, a rich breakfast, breathing the fragrance of the fields, in the intimacy of the early morning light. The housing complex is the result of a recently renovation of the historic buildings (the Trullo Saraceno with its characteristic white dome is even more ancient then the Trullo with cone), in which the wise recovery of original materials, traditional techniques and typical architectural standards, led a restoration of interiors and exteriors that maintained a strongly evocative silhouette respectful of places, even in furniture with bright and natural colors, designed with great attention to detail and consists of unique and original pieces. The charm of the location is unmatched: the building overlooking a terraced garden characterized by typical stone walls and surrounded by 6,000 square meters of red earth and magnificent olive trees for exclusive use. Citrus and fruits trees, a large areas of Mediterranean forest with many plants and herbs, disclose a nature with thousands of colors and scents that illuminate the eyes and gladden the mind. The typical fruits and vegetables, totally organic, are available to guests. It's remarkably light and airy inside, thanks to white paneling and skylights. Help yourself to a nice glass of bubbles and take in the spectacular close up views of Lancaster Castle from the window seat, whilst you plan your days ahead. Draw a hot bath in a copper tub big enough for 2 (with Castle View's very own homemade lavender bubble bath) before climbing in to the exceptionally comfortable 'secret bedroom'. Quaint on the outside. Quirky on the inside. Inside Castle View, the secret bedroom and bathroom are a real surprise and simply luxurious! Everything is kitted out with your complete comfort in mind. A giant copper bath for 2 people, a king size natural mattress with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen, Smeg fridge/freezer and a giant 'Loaf' sofa to sink into in front of the wood burner. The property is detached from our home and has it's own parking space. Parking space a few strides from the cottage. Getting around could not be easier! The property has it's own parking space. The train station really is 2 minutes walk away from the property gates. Simply wheel your case straight up from the platform. No need for a taxi! By train, Manchester airport is a direct 1 hour 15 train journey away. Oxenholme (The Lake District) 12 mins. Delightful seaside towns such as Silverdale and Arnside 15/20 mins away. Yorkshire Dales 30 minutes. Morecambe 10 minutes. There are frequent direct trains to Edinburgh and London that take just under 2.5 hours. There are cycle tracks on our doorstep to picturesque riverside locations and seaside villages and towns. We are less than 10 minutes walk away to the bus station. Children aged 8 years and upwards are welcome. Feel free to bring your own dry logs and kindling - or buy a basket from us for £10. This year we are giving 10% of our turnover to LDHAS (Lancaster & District Homeless Action Service). So your stay at Castle View will help to support the less fortunate in our community.

Hop on a bus to Fen Drayton’s famous nature reserve and visit the myriad of historic and picturesque villages in the the area. St Ives sits on the river Ouse with a pretty quayside and excellent independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. There is a carpark directly opposite the pod. We are a 2 minute walk to the river and shops of St.Ives. It is just a ten minute walk to St Ives’s famous ‘Guided Busway’, where regular buses will whizz you into Central Cambridge in less than 40 minutes
