Delightful cosy shepherd's hut @ Victorian station

We warmly welcome you to stay in Bluebell, at the Old Railway Station, in a beautiful part of Northumberland, nestled between the coast and the hills. We provide some 'goodies', including locally made biscuits, milk, tea & coffee, to assist self-catering, as well as fresh eggs from our happy hens! The highly acclaimed Running Fox cafe & The Plough Inn are just a 5 minute drive away, in Powburn, plus a well stocked shop. There are plenty other places to eat in Alnwick and the surrounding area.

Stand alone, wild, off-grid woodland pod

300 yards walk across the fields and over 2 stiles, from the car parking area, totally off-grid camping pod, with solar panel for lighting and USB phone charging, a composting loo and gas shower. Situated in a stunning bluebell wood, with breathtaking views of Cheviot, Simonside and the Coquet Valley. The Pod stands alone, with just the abundant wildlife to share the woods with. The pod is very basic with no heating, a 2-ring gas hob and small sink, and a fire pit area with fallen wood for fuel.

Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Enjoy the natural warmth of the water, heated and ready for your arrival. This does need to be booked in advance, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required at a charge of £40. If your stay is longer than one night we can empty, refill and reheat for a small charge of £15.00 per night.
