Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. If you'd like to explore the area, we are nearby popular trails and bike routes, U-pick farms, breweries & restaurants and beaches along Lake Michigan.

Situated on 6 acres and with convenient (2 mile) access to I-65, our cozy Country Cottage is a great choice! Enjoy the cottage feel of this recently renovated (new cabinets, flooring, appliances) and charmingly decorated home, located in close proximity to local attractions! Our 650 square foot cottage is ideal for 1 - 4 guests.

This charming, semi-private cottage, set in a quiet country location is perfect for your next getaway. Small kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave provides you with kitchen basics. PLEASE NOTE: there is no stove/oven in this room. Bathroom is equipped with all the necessities plus extras like a two person shower with rain fall shower head. Outside is a 2-3 person hot tub along with a beautiful pergola with string lights and adirondack chairs.

The Oak Tree Lodge is located in a country setting and offers a private lodge with an outdoor area for relaxing and entertaining. The former barn structure has been beautifully transformed in a rustic and comfortable lodge to rest, relax, and renew. We have renewed it into a fresh new life - as a lodge to invite friends and guests to enjoy and relax. The listed rate is for four people, and additional quests will be $25.00 per person.
