If you are lucky you can also experience cruise ships, royal ships and large sailing ships, passing by. Sandhornøy has a rich wildlife and just outside the lake house you can experience both moose, deer, hare, otter, eagle and grouse. In summer, Finnvikhaugen is the perfect place to experience the midnight sun and in winter you can experience the Northern Lights. There are great hiking trails and the possibility for mountain hikes.

This is an amazing cozy "Nordlandshus". The house is completely renovated, with a new large kitchen, very good internet, new large beds, large new sofa and dining table, wood stove, as well as a new washing machine/dryer. Everything luxurious. You will have access to a large barn with billiards and football table games. The house is located 50 meters from the sea. You will also have access to a jetty by the sea for sunbathing and swimming (50 m from the house). The place is very northern lights friendly. 15 minutes walk brings you to a great shopping center.

By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. About 500 meters down to the village center where you find restaurants, shops, grocery store, Ægir brewery and pub, Fjordsafari, Fjord Sauna and Flåm railway.
