Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. The Otaki bamboo shoots are famous for their low bitterness and delicious flavour, and are best eaten from late March to late April. If you take another step, you will find a location with a sea, a mountain, a river, a valley, and a black hot spring.(Within 10-30 minutes by car) You can use it as a base to enjoy the nature of Boso.Lake Takataki is famous worldwide for its smelt fishing, the reversal of magnetism hundreds of thousands of years ago, and the Chibanian.(The visitor center is scheduled to open in 3 years) The facility is located overlooking the Isuzu River and is built on a bedrock foundation. You can access the sandy beach in 2 minutes on foot, and enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, surfing, and fishing at local surf spots. There are many convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. The barrel sauna and jacuzzi bath can be enjoyed to your heart's content when rented privately! You can also easily rent it.
