Excellent shopping facilities are within walking distance. You can reach the district town of Itzehoe in 10 minutes by car, Büsum in 45 minutes, and Hamburg is very easy to get to by bus and train.

The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North Sea and the Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.
