Beautiful space in Chimayo and close enough to walk to the Rancho de Chimayo, a favorite northern NM restaurant. Beautiful deck to enjoy the views from the property. Friendly dogs. Description of minimal kitchen was accurate and this just kept our getaway simple.

The casita is amazing! Mary is so wonderful and has everything you need stocked in the home. This is definitely our new home away from home! The view of the mountains is beautiful and there are so many birds everywhere. I've never had a host that leaves fresh baked cookies on the table for you upon arrival. Amazing place, amazing host and we can't wait to go back!

No matter where you look: indoors or out, you will behold vistas (e.g. Pedernal) and artistic expressions (they are even better in person than the photos show) that have you surrounded in beauty and creativity. The shower is an experience that awakens all the senses: the smell of Earth coming from the beautiful stoneworked floor and walls remains with me still :-). I will definitely want to return— and I’m pretty sure you that you will, too!

The Raven House was a great change of pace for our road trip. After hotel to hotel, I was ready for something that felt like home. And I found it here. Out of every window, there was a view. Tons of great books on the shelves and a nice deep Jacuzzi tub for your getaway in the mountains. Even the dogs in the distance, howling like wolves made the place even more enchanting. The kitchen was beyond stocked with anything you might need to prepare meals. And even after heavy rains overnight getting out to the main road down the dirt road was easy. I will definitely be planning a trip to stay longer and really getting to enjoy the place for more than just a night. There’s a nice shop/grocery store/café a few mins away that also has gas. And a good restaurant at the Giorgio O’Keefe museum that is also right down the road as well.
