This is an old private house inn that initially opened as an accommodation facility for almost 100% inbound guests. We are renovating the semi-open-air bath inside the storehouse and the area around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, and there is a stream that flows between the holy water basin, the ladle, the deer stone, and the stepping stones. The pot pond is home to koi, goldfish, medaka, conger eel, and river shrimp, and it is a biotope space visited by wild birds. ■ Check-in lounge (cafe/lounge area), souvenir corner ■ You can enjoy authentic cocktails on the ground floor of the annex (main building). There is a souvenir corner with imported interior goods, accessories, natural stones, etc. from Japan, Bali, and other places.

There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. The building has been designed to create a comfortable environment while making use of the characteristics of an old private house. The existing exterior walls and structures were insulated and reinforced, but restored to the time when the old house was built. Inside, we made a white box that provides a comfortable environment, and we made it the living room and bedroom. You can relax in a modern Japanese-style design space while staying in an old Japanese house. The bathroom opens to the courtyard with large windows and is full of a sense of freedom. The bathtub and bathroom heating are also equipped to create a comfortable bathroom environment, and privacy is ensured with blinds. It is small but equipped with a kitchen for simple cooking. The entrance is wide and bicycles can be brought inside. There is also a washing machine, so it can accommodate medium to long-term stays. There are also Western-style restaurants, Japanese restaurants, kappo restaurants, and bars nearby, so you can enjoy the local cuisine.
