Monthly Rentals in Old Hatchery Lake

This was a great base for a weekend away. Close enough to Shelton that it wasn't a hassle, far enough away that we were completely removed from any city/town vibe. Beautiful view of the Sound and mountain. Quick drive to Olympia for a day of wandering shops, grabbing lunch, and sitting by the marina for a beer. The only thing I would point out to potential guests is that there is very little blocking the morning sun from the room -- the east facing windows offer a beautiful view, and they also ensure an early rise if you are used to sleeping in a dark room. Overall, this was a very good value and location for a quick trip out of town.

Rebecca was the most attentive host! Her and her husband were very responsive and met us during check in to help us settle in. The space was absolutely lovely and the surrounding area was so charming. Driving distance from Olympic National Park, and straight shot to the airport. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to be in a cozy, warm space surrounded by trees and the lake.

The host is the most responsive,  responsible, and accommodating host we've ever had.  The amount of support was incredible. The space itself is a most welcome treat where you find solace away from the city,  and friendly neighbors. Not far from the cabin are the beautiful sights of lush trees,  hood canal and wildlife. On our visit we saw deer often, heron, fish in the creek directly behind the cabin and seals and whales in the canal.  The campfire and outside amenities only add to the charm and coziness of the cabin interior
