It is the heart of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette International Nature Park. It offers a typical Lower Rhine landscape with 12 lakes, 70 km of cycling and 145 km of hiking trails. The original flora and fauna typical of the landscape can be admired in lovingly maintained nature conservation facilities. Supermarket and bakery are within walking distance. The motorway 61 can be reached in about 8 km. Kaldenkirchen Train Station is about 7 km away. From there you can reach Venlo directly via the Dutch border and also in the other direction directly to Düsseldorf. Your home: The first floor of our detached house is your personal oasis of well-being for the duration of your stay. Situated 3.5km from the picturesque village of Eersel, on the very edge of the forest, lies B&B De Zandhoef. This beautiful cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests, however 2 to 4 is more comfortable with the space available. You have access to your private Jacuzzi and our heated outdoor swimming pool (April - October) There are many mountain-bike and hiking trails in the area and you are more than welcome to rent our e-MTB to try these out. It is bright and offers plenty of space on 70 m² when the weather is not so nice. The terrace offers a wonderful view into the garden. There is a table and chairs. Books for reading and exchanging and games are available. The bathroom is large and the shower is very spacious.

Our cozy, rural home, located in the Bocholt, provides space for 10 people. There is a fully fenced garden with all kinds of play options for the children. Adjacent there is a heated open terrace. We have an indoor playground and an outdoor climbing and climbing path. This allows them to enjoy themselves with us both indoors and outdoors. And then there is still room for cross-country with the various go-carts, bicycles, etc. that our lodging has available.

The white town of Thorn or Maaseik are also worth a visit.

Lonely forest hut in the middle of nature. The hut can be reached by car. It cannot be reached by public transport. Cozy furnishings, with fireplace, wood should be brought by yourself. The hut has household equipment with a good standard. Access and grounds are natural. All guests who want to enjoy nature and tranquility and respect nature conservation are welcome. Instructions and key handover only possible in German. Smoking is not allowed.
