The Donnerschwee district emerged from an old farming village, which presumably existed since the 9th century. The approximately 200-year-old farmhouse is located at the entrance to the village of Platjenwerbe, directly on the state border with Bremen. On the 3500 m² property, which is surrounded by old oaks, there is plenty of space to linger, play and relax. You have the entire attic of the house to yourselves. There are three CATS (Mieke, Erwin and Kurt) living with us on the lower floor. They might come to see you if the door is open.

Enjoy your time out in our tasteful accommodation right next to the natural forest Franzhorner Forst. The apartment is family-friendly and fully equipped with everything you need for a nice break. When you step out of your own front door, you are practically already on the Nordpfad/in the forest. In the shared large garden plot there is a private terrace, a fire pit and the possibility to barbecue and plenty of space to relax.
