(About 28 km) The cabin is located in Rakkestad municipality. 13 km from the city center with everything you need of shops. 13 km from Rudskogen motor center. 5 km from the left Knolden visitor farm. 44 km from Nordby shopping center at Svinesund. Degernes/Rakkestad and Trømborgfjella offer countless fishing lakes and hiking trails within a half-hour drive from the cabin. A 10-minute walk to Ertevannet.

Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.
