Henry was a wonderful host, just as the reviews said. The village is quite a bit less developed than Bacalar in terms of offerings (activities, restaurants). So if you want to avoid tourists, this is the way to go. On the other hand, if you don't have a car you will need to rely on Henry to help with finding taxi services.

El alojamiento es tal cual las fotos, la cama cómoda, tenía toallas, la cocina nos sirvió de mucho para hacer comidas, agradecemos mucho que nos dejaron un garrafón de agua, los utensilios suficientes para comidas rápidas, el cuarto contaba con el aire acondicionado mismo que nos funcionó mucho ya que por las noches se sentía el calor, el baño es grande y contaba con agua caliente, un lugar muy lindo, muy cómodo, me sentí como en casa, las bicis me fascinaron, la zona muy tranquila, a 10 min caminando e encuentra el acceso a la laguna, a 15 min el centro de Bacalar, el anfitrión nos dio permiso de dejar nuestras cosas antes del horario de check in, lo cual agradecemos mucho, sin duda alguna me volvería a hospedar aquí!!!!

Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un court séjour à Mahahual, surtout pour une personne seule. Un vélo ou un scooter serait pratique, mais c’est possible à la marche. Super!
