This is the private rental of an old house, [Kokoro]. This is a private house that is exclusively rented to one group per day, where you can feel close to the rich nature of Shiga Prefecture and enjoy rural life. It is a calm, old-fashioned space that can accommodate up to 10 guests. Please relax and enjoy your stay with family and friends. It is about an hour by car from the city of Kyoto, and if you are coming by train, it is about 20 minutes by bus from Adogawa Station on the JR Kosai Line, or about 10 minutes by taxi. It is popular with overseas guests, families, and groups. We also rent out BBQ sets (equipment) for a fee, so please feel free to ask. There is free parking on the premises. Up to 3 standard cars can be parked. For large vehicles, it may be difficult to park 3, so please contact us in advance. If you consult with us in advance, we can also rent out space for a fee. We also offer free bike rentals. There are also plenty of outdoor facilities in the surrounding area, so please use it as a base for your activities. A private rental accommodation that will be fully renovated in 2026. You can enjoy a homely stay in a calm environment. A maximum of 11 guests can be accommodated, but cots are also available, and the capacity of 11 guests is for families with children or families sharing beds. There are two toilets and two bathrooms, For groups of adults only, up to 7-8 people can stay comfortably. The nearest station, Otsu Station, is a 6-minute walk away. There is excellent access, with a direct connection to Kyoto Station in 9 minutes, a direct connection to Shin-Osaka Station in about 34 minutes, and a direct connection to Kobe in about 60 minutes!️ There is also a single change via Kyoto Station from Tokyo Station and Kansai Airport. There are restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, and a tourist information centre around the station. The convenience store is a 4-minute walk from the accommodation, and the supermarket is a 6-minute walk. The area is not very crowded, and you can enjoy a quiet stay ☺️ Fully equipped kitchen. It is a calm space with a Japanese-style feel, with a projector installed in the living room. After sightseeing, please relax by Lake Biwa.
