10 minutes to Kyoto Station/Maximum 10 people/Biwa Lake/4 bedrooms/5 minutes walk to Otsu Station/Children are welcome/2 stations available/No accommodation tax

Why not deepen your connection with your loved ones in a large, detached, barrier-free, quiet place to stay? 5-minute walk to JR Otsu Station. 10 minutes from Otsu Station to JR Kyoto Station, about 40 minutes to JR Osaka Station. 2-minute walk to Keihan Kamisai Station, with excellent access to Kyoto Sanjo and the shores of Lake Biwa. Free parking available on site. The interior is clean, there are few steps, and there are many handrails, so you can rest easy. Even 10 people can enjoy a relaxing stay. Babies are welcome 😄 It has convenient access to Kyoto and Osaka, and there are many tourist resources such as Lake Biwa, Hikone Castle, Lake Biwa Valley, marine sports, cycling, historic buildings such as Ishiyama Temple, and autumn leaves, and you can feel the unique appearance of Japan in each season❗️ I love this area. There are many restaurants, major coffee shops, convenience stores, and supermarkets around JR Otsu Station, which is convenient 😊 We have lots of amenities, including towels and coffee. As a business, I use English to educate parents and children throughout Japan about the charms of Japan and other countries, and to nurture children who can think from a global perspective. I would be happy to help you make lifelong memories.

Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Ensoh: Hideaway Portal to Naoshima & Art Islands

Ensoh strives to surround its inhabitants in naturalness and simplicity, ideals tied strongly to the Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic. It is a creatively restored home surrounded by traditional garden and lush forest. While (supplied) electric-assisted bicycles are the best way to this ‘hideaway’ and from it to the Art Islands, it is hard to believe Ensoh is mere minutes from the local train station. If you seek nature, uniqueness, space, and beauty in your Japanese travels, it is here!
