Holiday rentals with breakfast in Otsu

Kyoko was a fantastic host, who even met us at the door before arrival to allow us to put our bags in early! She provided lots of local recommendations, had a beautiful space, and even provided us food and other snacks! It is in a great location, 15 min from Nara Park and 5 minutes to Nara Station (if train noises keep you up, be sure to bring earplugs!) and I cannot say enough great things about this stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Osaka. The unit was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for our group of six. It provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk to the subway and surrounded by a great selection of restaurants. Universal Studios Japan was also easily accessible, only about 15–20 minutes away, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Our host was outstanding—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They provided clear and concise directions to the property, as well as straightforward instructions for the check-in process, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka.

Before check-in, the host gave us a detailed check-in manual, instructions on how to check in and register; the house is close to Imazato Station, there are Lawson and places to eat nearby, convenient to get around; there are three tatami in the room, so it is best to bring a four-piece set of beds, and the number of beds is arranged according to the number of people traveling (many travelers with heterosexuals can refer to our comments); overall, it feels good to live.

Modern and fresh apartment. All the amenities that you need. Loved the recliner chairs to relax. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself. Large and easy to use bathroom with washing machine. Great outside area including hot tub. You’re right next to a bamboo forest. So very peaceful. Walkable to Fushimi Inari Shrine and 1000 red Torii if you are able bodied. Naoko responded to every request quickly and happily. Loved the treats for breakfast. Thanks Naoko.

I had a wonderful stay at 耕造. They were very adamant about making sure I knew what I needed to about staying in the room, and very generous with things like snacks and advisories about what to do in town. I had a great time in Kyoto and I would definitely stay here again. Arigatou, thank you!

Comfortable, clean and with lots of charm ( a beautiful mix of modern and Japanese style). In the residence there was another apartment which is convenient if you are traveling with another family (which was our case). The accommodation is well located, close to public transport. There's a beautiful temple nearby.

We’ve been to many Airbnb’s but this has been the best one. The welcoming was amazing with information about the beautiful architecture of the house, which was as beautiful as in movies. Also very clean and we are very happy with our stay and recommend this to anyone thinking about it. Also a perfect getaway from the big cities!

Comfortable room. Small for 4 but pleasant; it is well designed to stay there for a few days. Close to Universal Studio Park ☺️👍

Kuniko's place was amazing in so many levels. She made breakfast with love every day. The apartment is spacious and clean, with nice touches like the smart toalet and the washing machine. The tatami was surprisingly comfortable we had the best sleeps while being in Japan. We really liked the neighborhood too, with it's friendly streets and the close metro stations. I would really recommend Kuniko's place, 10/10.

Close to the station and walking distance to Super Tamade.The south exit of the Nankai Line and the JR line Tsutenkaku exit has an elevator and is convenient.(I don't use the subway, so I don't know.) They helped me keep my luggage before check-in. I was relieved to hear back from you soon.The front desk was polite and very good. It was new, clean, and I had a pleasant time.

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

Grateful to have a chat with grandpa, Grandpa's English was really nice and much better than us.Want to stay at Grampa's place all the time.And I think Grandpa should open a restaurant.Grandpa's meal is really the best few I eat in Japan.Udon noodles are so good, love, I should steal my grandfather's secret recipe.Hope you can eat it again!!Grandpa taught us to say "go" ha ha ha ha ha.

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

We had a lovely stay, we felt at home. We were 4 people for a week-long stay. Everything was as described. Bacon was really a plus! And the location is perfect for visiting Osaka (transportation, restaurants, etc.) The host was available and responsive. He was very kind and caring: when we arrived there were lots of good things to eat (sweet and savory). On the day of our departure, it was raining a lot, he brought us/ gave us rainy clothes. We recommend this listing without hesitation!! THANKS again. 🙏🏾

Yuya san was very hospitable to us,He is a great host!His house is full of cultural atmosphere, large and clean. The plants in the garden are lush and healthy. I highly recommend you to experience his house and appreciate his gardener's craftsmanship. We spent a pleasant time in his house.

This place is beautiful, peaceful and close to nature. Miyuki is easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is super nice, very clean and neat. The breakfast is simple yet very very homey and delicious. We wish we stayed much longer here. Locationwise is near the Gojo city so plenty of big supermarket, restaurants, etc. Recommended to drive so can explore this area better. We live the peaceful morning walk around the house. Thank you sooo much, Miyuki! Hope will be back here again in the future.

Albeit brief, this was my favorite stay of my entire Japan trip. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always proactive in making sure we felt at home not just in our accommodation but also in Kyoto and the lovely and peaceful neighborhood the townhome resides in. They made sure to follow up every question we had and made sure we were able to travel and make our next destination smoothly. We had some stressful travel beforehand, but they were extremely flexible in made our trip much easier. Also their cute daily breakfast was delicious and every single room had so much personality. It has a shared common space and bathroom but it never felt inconvenient and also allows you to get a one of a kind experience in Kyoto. The price was also incredibly reasonable and a great value. I look forward to returning next time I’m in town!

It was fabulous to meet チヤコ and her friends. We felt very welcomed and cared for. チヤコ, the kids and friends are open an inquisitive. It led to many nice conversations and educational exchanges. It hurt to leave the next day. Highly recommend!

The hosts here are amazing! They helped inform me about how to get around, and to the places I wanted to go to, as well as give me recommendations. They went above and beyond, and we're very helpful and supportive. They are very kind people, and I am very thankful for them. This was my first trip, so I learnt a lot. The area is a very nice area as well. I recommend it.

I have nothing bad to say 🌺. Extremely beautiful location at the stone beach 🏄‍♂️ spacious entire upper floor to ourselves 🏡 delicious breakfast in the morning with a view 🍞 and the most sincere and friendly hosts☀️

A beautiful traditional machiya house, super clean, rooms were fantastic (I stayed in two different rooms), host were very helpful and welcoming, food was so delicious, location very central (walking distance to Kyoto Station, restaurants, cafés). I had a wonderful experience overall; surpassed my expectations!
