Monthly Rentals in Passara

Stayed at Shehan's place for 2 nights along with my family. The property is extremely beautiful, private, peaceful and away from the slightly more commercialised parts of Ella. Ella town is a 15-20 minute drive away, but that was not much of an issue for us. Sunil, the caretaker, was really helpful and is an extremely sweet person. you can absolutely take his word on food recommendations if you've asked him to prepare a meal or two there. Shehan was also in constant touch to ensure there were no hassles, though in all honesty, there's nothing to be worried about!! Loved the stay and a definite recommend for people looking to unwind in a serene, private & chic place.

This is an outstanding villa in a hillside location with wonderful views of the surrounding hills including Little Adam's Peak, a waterfall, endless forest and low areas far away towards the coast. Rumesh was very welcoming and helpful with walking suggestions and tuk tuk bookings. Ella is a 30 min ride away and the track down to the villa from the road is bumpy with steep sections. The food was home made, delicious and varied and was cooked fresh each day by a lady in the local village. The villa has two very well appointed bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and a large central area where we ate meals and relaxed. There is a small library and some yoga mats. Rumesh had planted cacao, mango, curry leaf bush, coriander and lime trees close to the property and we were able to walk through these. The wildlife includes a profusion of Sri Lankan birds, squirrels, boar and fire flies. This is one of those special places in the world that will stay with you for ever. Thank you.

It is a lovely tree house, very beautiful location. Very neat and clean too. Host was very helpful and friendly. Only problem was we had to walk on a stoney road to reach the stay. It is a bit far from road. Overall it was a great experience and the morning view was totally mesmerising. I highly recommend this place.

Clean and tidy accommodation, conveniently walkable to many great restaurants and cafés in Ella. It would have been even better with a dressing table or some surface in the living room to keep personal items, as there wasn’t much space for that. Renuka is an excellent host—warm, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring a wide variety of delicious homemade Sri Lankan dishes and desserts. Truly appreciated the hospitality. Highly recommended for those looking for a comfortable place to sleep while spending most of the day out exploring and enjoying other activities.
