In Alentejo´s golden fields we find Lobeira, a century-old cottage surrounded by trees, patio, swimming pool and next to a lovely river beach. The original features of the construction in mud, stone and wood were kept, favoring the use of natural materials and local handmade techniques while adding all the necessary amenities to provide a perfect stay. 3 houses, totally independent of each other. The apartment does not respond to a classic mountain country house, it is rather a neat and tastefully decorated apartment, with new materials and strongly isolated; of contemporary image. Of course, when looking out the window, or opening the double door, the exultant nature goes through the retina and we are seized by an ancient mediterranean forest. Casa Da Fonte Nova, Messejana, Portugal

A little paradise in the typical Alentejo countryside, surrounded by olive and fruit trees, with a swimming pool open from May to November. As it's an extremely quiet spot, the wifi network isn't very powerful, but it works (a good opportunity to get away from stress!). Ideal for nature lovers, you'll be dazzled by the sunrises and sunsets, by the landscapes and by the animals that are sure to visit you (golden eagles, hares, foxes, mongooses and all kinds of birds...).

Casa do Troco by Casas da Serra (House of Change by Mountain Houses)

Casa do Troco used to be an old trading house with a barbershop and a ballroom, where the inhabitants of the neighbouring villages danced to the sound of a local accordion player. Today it is a spacious house with a swimming pool, an old outside threshing floor turned into a terrace and a giant cooking and dining space with a kitchen island that invites you to cook with family and friends. Casa do Troco has 5 bedrooms for a maximum 9 guests.
