Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Peterborough County

We had a fantastic last-minute family getaway here. Roxana was an amazing host - very friendly and had extremely quick responses with the few questions we had for her before and during our stay. The cottage was immaculately clean, had pretty much everything you would need, and was very cosy and comfortable. The decor was super adorable with lots of Canadian details that were absolutely loved by our Australian family members who were visiting with us. Lots of thoughtful details inside the cottage - we were especially pleasantly surprised to find some birthday decor available for use as we were celebrating a birthday during our stay! The outdoor space is stunning and so peaceful (amazing views from both indoors and outdoors). We enjoyed spending lots of time outside the cottage taking in the beautiful scenery as well as exploring the lake by the kayaks and canoe provided. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space. We would love to return in the future :)

Fee's Landing is an amazing spot and we absolutely loved our stay. The cottage itself was quaint, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Great views of the river and and a nice outdoor space overlooking it with a firepit situated perfectly for gazing out. Lora and Dave were great hosts - so responsive and friendly. We were here for our wedding weekend as the venue was closeby and would HIGHLY recommend a visit here!

We very much enjoyed this much-needed mid-winter family getaway from the city. 2 feet of snow while we were up there -- great for reading books and playing games next to the the beautiful indoor fireplace, for cooking wonderful meals in the well-outfitted kitchen, for relaxing in the hot tub while watching the snow fall, and for listening to music while talking. We had a great time and plan to return!

The view waw amazing! Art (host) was right there when we needed him! There was a huge wind storm before we got there and he made sure we could access the house by clearing the debris. He also came and re lit the pilot light for us too! He even brought us some home made maple syrup which was delicious! He was very sweet and kind and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family!

Our group enjoyed a late summer weekend at this beautiful cottage. Everyone loved it! The kitchen is so well equipped with proper pans, utensils, and an array of spices. It was so clean inside and felt very homey. Meagan was super easy to communicate with. Our dog loved the shallow lake entry. Can't wait to be back in the future :)

Wonderful cottage, in a perfect location. Gorgeous and peaceful lake front, with a bon fire spot overlooking it. Everything was nearly brand new (appliances, large tv, hot tub, bbq) Kayaks were great to use to explore the Lake. Friendly general store 5 mins away. Amazing sunset. Foosball. Don’t hesitate.

My family couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. As far as bang for your buck goes you can’t do better. Andrew and Hali were exceptional hosts, very responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. Everything was very clean, bedrooms and furniture throughout were very comfortable. My boys would absolutely love to come back, and we’d highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a seamless experience on a beautiful lake. Thank you for such a great experience!

We’ve been staying at Jessica’s properties for the past four years and always enjoy our stay. If you have a boat or other water vessel, this place provides a free slip for the duration of your stay which is great! Jessica’s properties are always extremely clean, free of clutter and provide all the necessities and more! The restaurant and general store at the marina (on site) are very convenient. If you do have a boat or rent one on site, be sure to visit Juniper Island! It’s always a fav of ours to visit.
