Tent holiday rentals in Plainview

We had a great family camping trip! The site was beautiful with a nice lake view. The tent, bathrooms and kitchenette made our stay easier with kids.

Great stay at Stephen’s. He advised us not to use our non 4WD vehicle to get up to the site but we tried anyway because we arrived after dark. He told us he could help get our car unstuck and patiently did so. It was a serene place and we tried some of his distillery items, which were tasteful and great (no hangover!!). Friendly and loving cat who follows him around as well.

Such a great spot. The property is beautiful, cozy, and has great views. The glamping set up was perfect for our needs. Having a real, cozy, blanket covered bed was amazing. Tent was spacious and we felt we had everything we needed for our trip. We extra enjoyed the amazing brewery / beer stop down the road called Whistle Hop. Tent came with electricity hook up and a space heater. We camped in some freezing weather and were beyond warm and cozy. There's a cute barn cat who stopped by but our jerk dog scared him off. Bonus points to the host who came out in the cold around midnight to make sure our electricity, and our connection to the space heater, worked after the heater tripped the breAker. Host made sure we were cozy and had everything we needed, even late!

For our daughter's 9th birthday, she wanted to go on a family camping adventure, and that was exactly what we got with this awesome little property. It was the perfect balance of comfort/amenities and rustic/close to nature. The outdoor kitchen and bathroom worked out great, both were clean and functional with all the essentials (pots/pans, utensils, plates, toiletries, towels, etc.). We had a great time around the campfire playing games (a nice variety was available inside the tent) and roasting marshmallows. The kids' favorite part was exploring all the little paths around the property and hiking down to the river. Aside from a small wasp invasion (which is kind of to be expected when you're camping!), the tent was perfectly comfortable - the beds were cozy, the linens were clean, and it was decorated super cute. It felt like everything had been thought of. We would love to come back again!!

Such a wonderful location! Excellent glamping. The accommodations are very comfortable and the outdoor patio was great. We had such a nice night by the fire pit! We can not wait to return!

I can't say enough nice stuff about the host and property! Even walking through Copper Hill was a blast!

I rented Daniela's Pool/Backyard for my son's 11th birthday last month. This was the second birthday party I had there and my third time at her residence. Daniela is a wonderful host! She is communicative, proactive, responsive, and accommodating! The location of her residence and pool is perfect. Everyone who attends the parties always "raves" about it. I will definitely book with Daniela again!

First and foremost, Sarah and Kyle are amazing hosts. And their location is perfect for a little private getaway. Peaceful and quiet area full of nature. I highly recommend this location. And once again the hosts are extremely friendly and kind hearted! Will definitely visit again!

my family and I stayed at PaPaws place and it was more than perfect! place was easy to find and exactly as described. there were 4 very comfortable beds and 2 Futons. You could easily fit 10 people more than comfortably. The bathhouse was gorgeous! extremely clean and well kept. We also had a picnic table under a pergola and a gas grill ready to use! It is 30 minutes from Anakeesta/Gatlinburg area. There is a DG about 7 minutes away for any last minute needs. Janice's Diner is about 5 minutes and has delicious breakfast and lunch! staff was very nice as well. over all it is a place my family and I would book again!

This place has been on my “wish list” for quite some time, and I’m so glad I caught just the right day it was available! This place is truly a wonderland! If you’re looking for a cool adventure, this is the place! Pack light lol

A perfect little getaway! The elevated tent is clean and cozy, adorable decorated, and provides a comfortable stay. The deck is spacious, brilliantly laid out. Shower is hot and clean outhouse is spotless. The grounds are well-kept. The hosts are kind and quick to respond to any questions and concerns. They have brilliantly constructed the perfect off-grid experience! We arrived at night and found the solar edison and deck lights to be so inviting. *Bring your own portable goal zero/charger for phones and devices. The heater buddy was a huge perk. We appreciated the percolator and pots and pans for cooking our meals on the grill with side burner. The deck is an amazing space to share a meal and morning coffee, fire pit is perfect, and wood was provided. There are neighboring properties and occasional traffic sounds but it doesn’t make this space any less peaceful. By early evening, you’ll only hear nature. Wish we had more days to stay! We will be back for sure!!

My friend and I booked the spot for some quiet catch up time. Camping without the hassle of having to haul everything with you. gorgeous sunrise, great cookable firepit, comfortable tent.

We absolutely loved New Life Farm Glamping! The tent was so cozy and beautifully decorated, it truly felt like home away from home. The creek was relaxing and our boys really enjoyed playing in it and building with the rocks. My husband and I felt like kids again ourselves. We enjoyed the salamanders, crawdads and fish that we were able to spot under the rocks, it was a real life science lesson. We even had the chance to watch 4 fighter jets fly over one morning, incredible! Overall it was very peaceful and relaxing, the perfect way to camp with some of the comforts of home. The nights did get chilly but the wood stove provided ample heat overnight. (Honestly, I should have packed a little better for the cold.) We have already recommended this place to our friends that also enjoy adventuring and we would absolutely return for a stay.

April was a wonderful host! She had a small gift and note waiting for us at arrival that made us feel so welcomed and right at home. The venue was exactly as pictured. It was the perfect weekend get away!

Exactly what I was looking for and what was described. Cheryl and Alex have been very responsive, throughout our stay. We enjoyed being surrounded by the animals, playing fetch with Ellie ( the black lab) and the surprise visits by the most friendliest cat I’ve ever seen. Cheryl was kind enough to give us a farm tour as well. Overall a very good experience and definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Great place to stay to get away from civilization. It is peaceful, quiet, and very gorgeous. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Kevins camping spot was exactly as described, We had plenty of space for our crossover and day tent with room to spare. The space was far enough away from the home where it felt private and was very quiet. We would rent again in the future if needed and you definitely cant beat the price. Thank you Kevin.

If you are looking to upgrade your camping experience this Glamping retreat is the place to do it! Current river and Jacks Fork are all very close plus so much more! Lots of trails and natural springs. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again soon. Jo and her staff are amazing. 😀😍

We can’t say enough positive things about Glamping Retro! Not only was the property beautiful, but it was also extremely clean and peaceful! From the brook that lulled us to sleep at night to the cozy fire pits, this was the perfect place to unwind and relax for the weekend. It was also surrounded by tons of beautiful hiking trails. Glamping Retro honestly went above and beyond our expectations. Sharen and Tony were also exceptional hosts! They were quick to respond and warmly welcomed us with a cute chalkboard sign out front, as well as a sweet card and treats for our pup. We already can’t wait to come back and will be recommending this place to everyone we know!

My 13-yr-old son and I needed a weekend getaway. The yurt at Waterloo overlooking the creek was perfect. We had everything we needed. We relaxed around a fire, visited the waterfalls and braved wading in the cold November water, enjoyed a hammock we brought, read books, and enjoyed a night walk with the full moon. Cookeville is a short distance for town runs. We just needed rest this time, but next time we'll probably venture out to other hikes and waterfalls in this beautiful area.

This was probably the best campsite I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. Brittany was super helpful and gave me a lift up to the spot with all my things and was very welcoming overall. The land is gorgeous and quiet except for the sound of critters at night. The view of the stars was unreal. The outhouse was exceptionally clean and well designed. The only thing I had a need for was a hand washing station or hand sanitizer- fortunately I had my own and I just recommend that guests bring it with. She did say there was also a bathhouse which I didn’t end up using, so lots of amenities! I would return if I’m ever in the area again.
