At an altitude of 1,200 metres, on a ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows mooing and birds singing. No traffic noise — just open air and a sweeping view over the valley. From the house, you can step directly onto hiking trails towards the Puy Mary. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds and a pellet stove for the cool mountain evenings. The house is 15 km from the medieval village of Salers, 10 km from Mauriac or Pleaux and 34 km from Aurillac. All the rooms of the house are spacious.
