Cottage holiday rentals in Pomquet

We booked super last minute so we could stay longer in town to visit my grandparents - we were beyond pleased with our stay! We had asked the host if there was any stores near by as we weren’t familiar with the area just to grab the kids some hot dogs but nothing was close nor near by and the host actually came down with hot dogs, buns and ketchup for my kids! Such a sweet gesture!!! The cabin was adorable - above expectation! Will definitely book again!

Last Min visit after our first place we had booked had to cancel due to waether and no power !!!! Place was cozy, and the hot tub and sauna was a nice added touch :) It had e everything needed and was close to restaurants and the beach.

Words cannot describe how beautiful Serendipity Oasis is! It was the perfect location to celebrate my mom's birthday. From the moment we booked till the time we arrived we had open communication with Phil, he answered all of my questions, and then some. He was quick to respond and also gave us some great recommendations. The cottage was everything we were hoping for and more! Very clean, cozy, with the most beautiful view of the Hillsborough River. The screened in porch is where we spend most of our time, when not out exploring the Island. Beautiful sunsets every night. I would recommend this place to anyone. The one and only caution I would say (not at all Phil's fault) are the mosquitoes! They were relentless, but by having the screened in porch, we were available to still enjoy the outdoors. Phil even had the property sprayed for mosquitoes, but it had just rained before our arrival. He definitely went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We definitely would stay here again.

This by far was the most perfect getaway for my husband and I. The one thing we could not stop talking about is how this place was equipped with everything you could think of and I truly appreciated that. From things like condiments readily available in the fridge to toothpaste to even an air fryer, things you would normally have to bring yourself. Outside of that Jennifer and her husband were the most kindest, lovely and fun hosts. We had an impromptu boat ride with them and what a special time it was. My husband and I often do getaways to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other and this place really elevated our getaway.

Overall a great stay at a lovely cottage. Kristy was extremely responsive to questions during our stay. We had an early spring visit so the road in was a little messy, but that is no fault of the hosts/cottage. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

The location of this property is a quick drive to all amenities and the beach. Place is beautiful and very clean. The host was very quick to respond when I needed to change our arrival date and very thoughtful in the touches around the place.

Amazing place, everything you need is there, the view is just amazing Matthew is a great host, visited him at the pub, good drinks and good food will be coming back for sure

We returned for a second visit and it was so great to be back! Views of the ocean/bay were magnificent. Cottage was cozy especially when wood stove was on. Relaxing time for sure! Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise!

The location was exactly as described and pictured. It even had a trampoline - which wasn't listed but was a surprise hit with the children. There was a lovely welcome package when we arrived with the satellite radio playing softly. We felt immediately at home. The location is stunning. We went kayaking, fishing, hiking, and enjoyed evening fires. The beach was gorgeous and the house was well equipped. The kitchen literally had everything you might need. We did have a question regarding the water quality and testing (notes stated it was spring fed and I wanted to be sure the water was potable as there was bottled water provided in the fridge) but did not receive a reply from the host when we enquired. Lots of towels, bedding was nice, and dogs were welcomed. For an active family with young children it was a wonderful place to spend a fall weekend.

Great cottage, nothing lacking, close access to great, walkable, swimmable beach with entertaining seals and other wildlife. Friendly, helpful and accessible host.

Lisa and Jared’s place is amazing. We felt right at home. The space was beautiful inside and out and had all the amenities needed for a cottage stay. It was also setup perfectly for our two dogs who had a great vacation too, thanks to all the little touches (dog bed and toys, fenced yard, lots of sticks to chew). The view was breathtaking and the beach was wonderful to walk - lots of treasures to find. The house was also welcoming to our six year old with puzzles, games, and plastic plates/cups. We would recommend this stay to anyone and hope to get back again someday!

This cottage is a true PEI gem! The location was private and beautiful - that view from the porch! - and cottage had everything we needed for a family vacation. Close to stunning beaches (Panmure Island was our fav) and the charming town of Montague. Being able to use the new sea kayaks to explore the river/harbour was an added bonus! Steve and Lori were excellent hosts - very communicative and welcoming, they made the cottage feel like home away from home. We'd highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The cottage itself was very rustic, small and very simple but on par with my expectations for a PEI beach cottage. One doesnt intend to spend much time in it. My mother was very bothered that there was no wine glasses or corkscrews but I was happy enough to drink my screwtop wine out a juice glass. It was indeed very close to a very splendid beach - 5 min walk at most. Such a tranquil little hidden gem of a beach, great for swimming and walking and just chillin. I wasnt aware of how remote the area was though - there isnt even a gas station nearby and its like a 20 minute drive to get the most basic of necessities. And, as the cottage was totally bare bones with no provisions, as soon as we arrived we had to turn around and drive back out to go find oil and soap (I saw too late the hosts note that none was provided). All being said - a lovely little beach cottage for the price, just plan around its remoteness! Host gave us some great tips on where to get fresh seafood too!

The feeling of coming into this cozy cottage on a rainy, cold October afternoon was amazing - Jody had a crackling fire going in the wood stove and it was as if we were coming home. The dogs loved the wooded trails around the large, private property and the highlight was the adorable bridge crossing a wide brook. The area was peaceful and quiet and we highly recommend it.

cozy, clean and quiet with lots of lovely beaches and restaurants near by. Great birding in the area and fantastic musical shows very close and reasonably priced.

This is a great place to stay. We were lucky to stay here for work last week and we’ve booked again for next week. We always stay in a nice place when we are away for work, but it’s rare you get a place that you can’t wait to go back to every night!!

What an amazing place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sawyer's Retreat. The pictures don't do it justice. It's clean, cozy, beautiful, and very well-stocked. The whole property felt relaxing and peaceful. Cindy and Marvyn put in many thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable. Marvyn also took us clam digging on the beach, which was a delightful surprise for the kids (and adults too). And then Cindy showed us how to cook the clams, which was a delicious addition to our lunch. Wish we had stayed longer. We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for some relaxing time on the island.

A wonderful spot to relax and enjoy nature, with stunning views and close to some incredible beaches (I highly recommend the St. Peters Harbour Lighthouse). One small note—perhaps it's seasonal, but we noticed fishing boats in front of the property every weekday, with motors running (and occasionally music), which did interrupt the peaceful atmosphere. Aside from that, it’s a great place to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Leslee was a great host and made everything so easy. The cottage had everything needed plus more. Our family enjoyed our stay especially enjoying our morning coffee on the deck with the an amazing view.

Second time staying here and was just as nice as the first! Place is clean and great private location! Will definitely stay again next time in the area!

Barbara’s cottage is pristine, relaxing, and beautiful. It is private, cozy, the perfect retreat. Barbara goes above and beyond with special touches around the cabin. I recommend the cottage to anyone looking for some peaceful tranquility!

Very comfortable place in a quaint little fishing village in Chance harbor. Beautifully kept, adequately stocked kitchen, amble space and walking distance to a beautiful beach on the Northumberland strait. The backyard was private with a firepit and chairs to relax in the evening.
