North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. Our small thatched cottage on the Eiderstedt peninsula is located just a few hundred meters from the North Sea. It is located on a barely used side street surrounded by fields in the middle of a bird sanctuary. Built on an old central dike, our cottage offers a panoramic view of North Frisian nature. The sea can be reached on foot or by bike in just a few minutes, and the famous sandy beach of Sankt Peter-Ording is 10 minutes away by car.
