Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Port Austin

The Hemlock retreat was exactly what we needed for parents of two little kids to get away for a few days. The house was absolutely spotless! The kitchen and dining area was airy and bright with beautiful views of the woods. We watched deer, turkey and woodpeckers during meals. We enjoyed hiking along the creek and through the forest; it's clear that the owners love this property and put a lot of effort into the forest management. The sauna, fireplace and large tub were so nice for warming up. They even provided firewood. The owners house is nearby, but all the main windows face the other direction towards the woods, so we felt like we had lots of privacy. The bed is on the softer side but we slept comfortably. The smart tv was great, and I loved having access to the Sonos speaker in the kitchen so I could play music while cooking. Overall we would definitely come back; it was the perfect stay despite the cold march weather so I imagine it's beautiful in every season. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a Joy's beautiful lakeside Airbnb, and it was nothing short of amazing. The property is situated right on the lake, providing stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the hot tub, which was the perfect spot to relax and take in the picturesque surroundings. The cabin itself was immaculate, with everything sparkling clean and well-maintained. It's evident that the host takes great pride in keeping the place in top-notch condition. Speaking of the host, they were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. Had a great stay. It is a cozy little getaway. It was clean and cute. Lots of games inside for rainy days plus bonus games in the garage. Quiet neighborhood. We had no problems with anything. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

A few hockey families in town for a tournament. Lots of room, great location. We cooked meals all weekend in the large, well equipped kitchen. Lots of great memories made here!

I loved this cabin! It was super cozy inside & had everything I needed. Everything was clean and seemed to be pretty new or not frequently used. There was a nice view and it’s really quiet outside. I would stay here again.

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

Great place to stay. Very homey, felt very comfortable. Loved all the decor, beds were very comfortable. Very clean & lots of extras that are not usually included at some other places. I would gladly stay again. Karin responded to any questions promptly. Only thing that I would suggest is the shower, kind of complicated.. Thanks again Karin!

From the moment I messaged Louise she was very open,honest and kind. Super easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. Answering anything I asked. The home is gorgeous. I cant even begin to tell you how beautiful it really is. Every minor detail, decor piece and little detail is so well put together, homey and thoughtful. The house has a welcoming feeling about it to the point where youre so calm and at peace. That doesnt come easy. The rooms are spacious, and lots of storage if you need it. Bedding and beds are wonderful. The bathroom is also super amazing with a double sink for getting ready. The yard is stunning and well maintained, you can tell she takes great pride in every aspect of their home. It was a dream to stay here and I can not recommend it enough!! If you have the chance, please go stay here.

We had an experience like none other staying in this beautiful AirBNB. This was our second visit, the first during the Christmas holiday. It was a winter wonderland that was magical and beautiful. We felt like we had been transported to a Christmas in the old country. Phenomenal!! 🥰🎄🦌☃️

I had never been to Oscoda before, and Rachel’s place made me feel right at home! Perfect view of the beach, and it was just so so so beautiful. I will definitely be coming back for sure!!

It was the ideal location for a personal retreat. Everything about Cabin #7 fit my needs perfectly, including a brand new TV (for the Lions game lol) and space heater (which came in handy!). The beds and pillows exceeded my expectations and the shower was a nice size and had great water pressure. The 3 large picture windows in the dining area provided an incredible panoramic view of the Lake, without compromising privacy. I won't think twice about returning when the opportunity arises.

What an adorable cabin! Our cabin did not have a bathroom, but the owners had a golf cart that we were able to use to get to and from the bathroom! However, we would’ve been fine without it: it was only a minute walk. But it was still amazing to have. The cabin itself was super cute and very comfortable. There was a heater and fan for us to use and we appreciated it. There was a stream of water which was so beautiful to see especially at this time of year with the leaves. They also supplies fire wood for us which was super nice of them. This was a very nice stay, and we will be back!

Beautiful, clean, cozy cabin!! This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and loved it both times!! Host is very helpful, and made sure we got all settled. Flexible on the check out, and we will definitely be coming back.

Great cozy cabin! We came up during the off season so it was very quiet and peaceful. The place is as described and as shown in pictures. Just a minutes walk across the sand to the water, beautiful view! Paul was very welcoming and accommodating. We booked last minute on a snow storm weekend and Paul made sure the driveway was plowed, which we really appreciated. Considering it was the off season and snowy weekend there wasn’t a ton of things open, but we loved that the cabin was stocked with games. We found and really liked Brew Moon Cafe in Caseville and The Farm restaurant in Port Austin. Both opposite directions from each other but within a 15 min drive from the cabin.

This was such a beautiful & relaxing stay, a home away from home for outdoor lovers! Our host was responsive & gave clear instructions for arrival. We would gladly stay here again 🙂

Lake Huron is at your backdoor and Tawas Point State Park is really close. Sunrise is easy to view off the sunroom. We loved grabbing groceries in Tawas and exploring East Tawas for shopping.

Danielle was great. The place was beautiful. We stayed there to go to Bavarian Blast and it was close and an easy drive there.

The photos don’t really do this beautiful place any justice. You have to rent this place, it’s absolutely beautiful place with the large pond out back. It’s very serene and peaceful, but not far from local restaurants and shopping in Frankenmuth. We will be renting again in the future!!!
