Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Port Franks

The Hemlock retreat was exactly what we needed for parents of two little kids to get away for a few days. The house was absolutely spotless! The kitchen and dining area was airy and bright with beautiful views of the woods. We watched deer, turkey and woodpeckers during meals. We enjoyed hiking along the creek and through the forest; it's clear that the owners love this property and put a lot of effort into the forest management. The sauna, fireplace and large tub were so nice for warming up. They even provided firewood. The owners house is nearby, but all the main windows face the other direction towards the woods, so we felt like we had lots of privacy. The bed is on the softer side but we slept comfortably. The smart tv was great, and I loved having access to the Sonos speaker in the kitchen so I could play music while cooking. Overall we would definitely come back; it was the perfect stay despite the cold march weather so I imagine it's beautiful in every season. Thank you!

Very spacious and clean property. All appliances including coffee were available . Great views and very peaceful. Highly recommend this property, will definitely look to rent again!

FALL GETAWAY-Stayed Oct 18-20, 2024 with friends. The surroundings at this cottage in the fall are absolutely beautiful lots of fall colours and wildlife. There's a lovely beach just down the road we had great weather so it was nice to go for a walk, very peaceful not allot of people this time of year. We had dinner at Macphersons on Friday night which was very good and pizza the following night at Grogs which was also very good. Host Rebecca was wonderful, helpful, very worry free experience. Great cottage very clean had everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Fantastic getaway to unwind and enjoy the outdoors would highly recommend.

Ahmed is a fantastic host with a great home. Ahmed was very responsive and always reached out to see if we needed anything. My colleagues and I stayed mote than 2 weeks and it had more than enough space for 5 people. The house is very private and has a great outdoor space with a fire pit. I hope to return and stay again. we loved our stay. Beautiful home, not cluttered at all which made it easy to keep tidy (I hate a cluttered airbnb). the linens and mattress were SO COMFORTABLE, I want to buy whatever comforter they used. the fire was an added touch.

A few hockey families in town for a tournament. Lots of room, great location. We cooked meals all weekend in the large, well equipped kitchen. Lots of great memories made here!

Steph’s place was super cute and perfect for a weekend stay ! Super close to all that Wortley Village has to offer, great location. Steph was a very responsive host, went above & beyond for my stay. Her doggies are the cutest, would definitely be back if I was in London again. Highly recommend !

From the moment I messaged Louise she was very open,honest and kind. Super easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. Answering anything I asked. The home is gorgeous. I cant even begin to tell you how beautiful it really is. Every minor detail, decor piece and little detail is so well put together, homey and thoughtful. The house has a welcoming feeling about it to the point where youre so calm and at peace. That doesnt come easy. The rooms are spacious, and lots of storage if you need it. Bedding and beds are wonderful. The bathroom is also super amazing with a double sink for getting ready. The yard is stunning and well maintained, you can tell she takes great pride in every aspect of their home. It was a dream to stay here and I can not recommend it enough!! If you have the chance, please go stay here.

This place has been one of the best places I have been to. Charlene and John are really great people who are welcoming, made us feel like home with everything available as described. The location and ambiance is great with peaceful environment and beach is just 10 minutes drive. Amenities like hot-tub, fireplace made the experience even better. We highly recommend visiting this place.

I had an amazing stay at Pam’s place! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, and Pm & Ashley was super helpful, making sure I had all the info I needed for a great stay. We had such a beautiful stay at Becky’s cabin! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It had everything we needed to cook a nice dinner, including a hot plate which was a nice surprise! The bed and pillows were very comfy. We also loved relaxing in the sauna. We were lucky to have a warm, sunny day to walk on the trail into town. Becky was responsive and very accommodating! We would love to return for a longer stay!

Roland is a wonderful host! we stayed at his cottage during a snow storm and he was so accommodating about changing dates, early check-in and he offered that we can go back if get stuck in snow! we really appreciate that! the cottage looks waaaay better than the photos! all bedrooms were so spacious and the beddings were super comfortable! the whole cottage was at a super comfortable temptemperature aall the time! we had an excellent experience and we would recommend this cottage 100%!

What a wonderful weekend getaway! Could not have asked for a more perfect place for my fiancée and I to spend some peaceful time in nature. Elizabeth and her husband Scott were wonderful friendly hosts, they made us feel right and home and had great stories to share about the area and their beautiful property. The bunk house was the perfect spot along the river nestled in the cedar forest. Enjoyed the trails, the canoe and the fire pit views. Great trip into Goderich where we checked out some antique shops and local stores. Thank you again for a wonderful stay, we hope to see you again!

My bestie & I celebrated our 40th Friend Anniversary and it was perfect. We had a bonfire, which was set up by Yvonne’s son, roasted marshmallows and had a really peaceful night. In the morning we spent time feeding the Alpacas, took a walk with them and looked at the little shop. It was a wonderful stay and we will be back.

space has a great view. semi-easy access to the beach. In a shared area. all other gyests were friendly, and mostly kept to themselves. beautiful area, comfortable stay! Definitely recommended!
