Super penthouse on the sea

CherylRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Luca's place in Lido di Camaiore. The apartment is spacious and comfortable - 4 bedrooms each with it's own bathroom, large well-appointed kitchen and living/dining area, plus a second floor with workout area, private laundry room and large sunroom/deck overlooking the ocean. The building is directly across the street from the beach promenade lined with restaurants and beach clubs. Every day we'd walk across the street, rent a cabana/tent at one of the beach clubs and spend the day at the beach, before going back to change to walk to one of the many restaurants for dinner and gelato. Things I found especially great: - the air conditioning in the apartment is excellent! July in Italy is HOT and the apartment A/C worked wonderfully to keep the apartment cool after a long day at the beach. - Luca is incredibly responsive, both before and during our trip. He always responded quickly and with whatever info we needed. We will definitely be back!

Charming loft with free public parking

MassimilianoRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Finding a place like this ten minutes from the center of Lucca for comics and games was priceless! The apartment is very nice and finely furnished and the host is super helpful and kind. Clean, close to the center, parking under the house... better than that! 😁

Casa Perfumo di Mare, downtown and 5 minutes from the sea

EmanueleRating, 5 stars32 months ago
The week I spent with my wife and our son flew in. It feels like you're staying in your own home, there's a lot of space to fix your stuff, and the silence that reigns during the night has allowed us to rest without any problems. It's not right in front of the sea, with a 4-year-old it takes almost 15 minutes, but you're almost always in the shade because there's a forest, partly pine forest, that you have to cross to get to the beach. It was a nice vacation, the place was more than suited our needs and fully met my initial expectations. Great communication with Paolo, a discreet and extremely kind and helpful person. Attached to the accommodation are butcher, bakery and a sandwich shop. Esselunga supermarket is 5 minutes away on foot. Parking, although for a fee (daily/weekly/monthly subscription), is easily available, even in high season. I definitely recommend this apartment for a beach holiday in Viareggio.

Delightful apartment Amazing terrace

GaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A fantastic apartment. We absolutely loved it - the area was like a little village within a city. The terrace is as good as it looks on the pictures: views of San Martino, flowers, herbs and tiled rooftops all around. The mezzanine lounge was ideal for the kids to hang out. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need. And Marta was super-helpful at check-in! Brilliant place.

Beautiful, spacious apartment. Was well equipped - the kitchen had plenty of pans and utensils to cook a full meal. Dishwasher was a welcome extra. Speciality food and small grocery shops easily within walking distance. Wifi was fast and reliable. Small area to sit out on, overlooking the internal space of the surrounding apartments. Ideal to dry your laundry on if you had used the washing machine - airer provided. Perfectly placed in Lucca within the walls but in a quiet area - everything was easily walkable including the train station. We were met by Renzo, Carlo's father, who showed us how everything worked. Carlo responded promptly to any queries we had and was very understanding when I broke a wine glass. This feels much more like a beautiful home and not your typical Airbnb apartment. We would love to come back and stay again. Thank you Carlo and Renzo and once again many apologies for breaking the wine glass.

Bright and smart apt in Lucca

IanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The stay as Silvia’s places was great. It’s was literally a 5 min walk from the train station. The instructions to get into the apartment were exactly as provided. The apartment is within walking distance of everything in Lucca. Just 50m from the apartment were cafes and restaurants. There was one issue to do with electrics (outside the apartment) and when I let Silvia know she responded to me immediately and had someone attend to the problem. Silvia also came to the apartment and communicated directly to me about the issue. All in all I was very happy with my stay.

We based ourselves in Lucca for 5 days to explore Tuscany. It was great as we had a rental car. Secure and easy parking. Apartment was close to the train station in foot, as well as east to get into the old city.

Residenza al Fillungo. Your suite in the heart of Lucca

MichaelRating, 5 stars82 months ago
Valerio has a wonderful home in the heart of old Lucca, it is furnished with love and respect to the traditions of the city. It is a meticulous example of the old city residence. Valerio was most generous with thoughtful supplies of coffee, bread, milk and a host of other supplies that made all the difference. We were most impressed with the generosity of the breakfast part of bnb. In fact we do not recall an Airbnb at which we were given a more generous supply of food/condiments. The apartment is essentially one good sized room in which there is a beautiful Queen sized bed and also a very comfortable double sized pull out sofa bed that our 19 year old daughter used. We were very close in the same room but this was no problem for us. The kitchen was equipped very well indeed and we enjoyed very much buying food and cooking ourselves after a long day walking. We couldn't have asked for more in the kitchen. The bathroom is separate with a large ante room and is beautifully appointed. There is hot water but it does take a long time to get there, but we were there in summer and it was very hot in Lucca so it did not worry us unduly. The water pressure is modest. There is a significant climb to the apartment, but you can't have the charm of old Lucca in a classic heritage protected building and all the modern conveniences. The only difficulty was with the WiFi service, it was very poor in the apartment, but if you sit on the staircase you can access all you need! We would recommend staying here, it was fabulous for us in the New World to experience a beautiful and ancient apartment in the Old World. Highly recomended

La Casa Del Pesce - Loft in the Heart of Lucca

Bahar IlgınRating, 5 stars21 months ago
This was the perfect place for my very first trip to Italy. The host made us feel so welcome and right at home, provided us with some super helpful information has checked in on us during our stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. The loft is located right in the heart of Lucca, with so much style, class and soul. Many great cafés and restaurants are a stone’s throw away and you have absolutely everything you could ask for in the loft. We left a piece of our hearts in that loft and in Lucca and will certainly be back.

Lovely loft in the heart of Lucca

EddieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
What an absolute gem of a find, great location near the train station, local cafes and restaurants are at walking distance. Place had a blend of traditional and Modern touches, with every you need. Madaline was a super host and brought me coffee when she came to top up the coffee pods. Such a nice touch. Highly recommended and defo will stay again.
