Chalet at the top! We had the opportunity to stay for a few days: calm, rest, walks as far as the eye can see. Very responsive, welcoming, respectful host while being discreet. The feeling: being alone in the middle of nature, while being close to the host (reassuring). A great stay that we recommend to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and sauna were really great and it was very relaxing. The lock is a bit difficult to open but after a few times you have it out. The two cats are super cute and intimate, we really loved it. Big plus for the bedding, which was super fluffy and cozy. We will be happy to come back!

The house is very new and corresponds to the pictures. We felt right at home! If you like peace and seclusion ( for people from the city ), this is the place to be. The extra charge for the hot tub is worth it.

We had a great time at Mökki! Everything your heart desires was there. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful! In the middle of nature we were able to relax well. The location is really great right on the lake (which of course also means muddy paths in the forest at thaw, beware of the car choice). Supermarkets are about half an hour away by car. Hiking routes are easily accessible by car. Alexandra was very friendly with communication and was able to give us many tips! Check in/check out was hassle-free. We had a helpful contact person on site. The accommodation is very clean and tidy. The vacation there was definitely worth the price. Always happy to come back!

Vesa-Matti was an exceptionally good host! He clarified all our questions and ambiguities in advance. He also proactively gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities. Vesa-Matti's response time is incredibly fast. Never had a host who took care of our concerns faster than he did. The place is quietly located. The nearby ski resort is within walking distance. We recommend booking a car for this property. Shops, activities, etc. are very difficult to reach without a car. The place itself is very nice, clean and has everything you need. The place was perfect for the four of us. We would not recommend more than six people (otherwise the other people have to stay in the sauna building) We enjoyed the week with pool and sauna to the fullest and can therefore only recommend the accommodation as well as Vesa-Matti!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Miro’s place! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, and leaving was truly heartbreaking. The cabin had everything we needed for a perfect winter getaway in Iso-Syöte. The cross-country skiing opportunities were fantastic – the trails start right outside the door. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

The stay was absolutely amazing. Secluded in pure nature directly at the lake. A great place for a holiday to relax and come down. We were a couple and absolutely enjoyed every part of it, especially the whirlpool, Sauna and all amenities the house has to offer. The hosts had an incredibly quick response to any questions we had during our stay. Thanks for that. The only negative point i could think of is the long list of instructions for using all the facilities of the house (e.g. the hot tub). It takes some time to read all of them and remember everything. But its definitely worth it. So i recommend staying at least 3 night for making full use of everything and enjoying this incredible place. There is also several national parks at 30-45min car drive. So longer stays are definitely also recommendable. We loved it and give this stay a 5/5 stars. Looking forward to come back one day!

Peaceful surroundings, almost just sounds of nature. Beautifully decorated with good taste, a small compact cottage with everything you need. Also a deck and yard plantations. A log sauna building on the beach, is also the eye, made with skill. Pricey but for a reason.

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

The villa swamp is a stunning, museum-like haven of peace and nature. Hunting land can be found nearby and you can really enjoy your vacation in peace. Carrying water and no-electricity is suitable for this place. Alex is great hosts and ready to help if needed. Everything went just as planned.

Everything was just right. Nothing to point out

We stayed at Salme's cottage on the lake for almost a month during our parental leave, with our baby and our dog. The house is very well kept and extremely clean. The view on the lake is stunning and the area Is surrounded by forest. There is everything you may need for a nice stay, whether it's in winter or summer. Salme is very kind and helpful, and will be happy to give suggestions on things to do if needed. Overall one of our best experiences as guests on Airbnb!

Viola and Pertti are very friendly host, always available in case of need of support or questions. The house is cozy and warm as it has central heating as well as a fire place. It is well equipped with everything necessary. The temperature of the heaters can be regulated. The outside toilet is just next to the house, easily accessible even with - 16 degrees and very hygienic. It's possible tu use the sauna and even to take a shower there. All in all highly recommended hosts and location. Thank you for everything, we will be back! :)

Comfortable and cozy little cottage. It was easy to be on your own. A big plus is great for jogging, and the adjacent dog forest is 😊 uncomplicated and easy accommodation. Messages were answered smoothly.

The House of Johanna is very cosy and warmful. We loved our stay there : a very confortable living room with wonderful fireplace to rest after day activities. bedrooms and bathrooms were Perfect. The kitchen has all apparels. The sauna was highlu appreciated and easy to use ! We saw borealis auroras from the garden, window and even from our bed !! Johanna was Very proactive and helped us to find some activities in Ranua. I highly recommend the place !

We had a great couple days at this cabin! We enjoyed the sauna, bbq by the lake, took the row boat out, and picked blueberries. Teijo was responsive when we had a problem with the well water and addressed it quickly. This place is perfect for someone looking for a peaceful getaway in beautiful Finnish nature. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and we hope we can return one day.

We stayed in the house for 1 week, it was a totally relaxing week😊, the lake was frozen, and we had our fun🤩. Highly recommended 👍

The stay was a great fit for our purposes. An air source heat pump and underfloor heating made it easy to heat. In the kitchen, we prepared what we had planned. The host provided sheets and towels. The cleaning supplies were a little primitive, but we were able to clean it up. It was easy to get to the ski track. Peaceful surroundings.

Staying with Alexandra was super nice. We felt very comfortable. Alex booked the husky ride for us, prepared the sauna and made a barbecue evening with us. The environment is perfect for spending quiet evenings and enjoying the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. Staying at Alex's place is highly recommended! Always happy to come back!

at first we thought no 'real shower' would disqualify the place, but after learning how to use traditional Finnish sauna we fell in love with the spot. Great location, spacious interior make it great destination for nature lovers. thanks Jiri!

What a place to stay! If you are planning to visit Riisitunturi like us, do not even hesitate one second. The fireplace outside was perfect for our outdoor lunches, the sauna, with a hot water boiler, and the hut was simply so cozy and accommodating. Very much recommend it!!! Thank you Lea also for being so available on the phone when we needed you!

Great place for those looking for some privacy! It's easy to take day trips to the beautiful natural sites in the surroundings and relaxing steam from the sauna in the evenings ❤️ Sanna was a great and considerate host. Communication and response was quick :)

The cottage was cozy and welcoming. We found everything we needed, and great views from the balcony crowned the cottage.
