I had a great stay at Ettore’s home. He was very hospitable and kind. The room was very comfortable and as described. The view was amazing. I do have to note that it was inconvenient to go back to the Airbnb with the heavy rain that we experienced. If you don’t drive or have a car, the last bus is 4:30pm and the last car is 9pm (€25) walking up wasn’t the safest or most comfortable option for a solo traveller who is unfamiliar with the route.

Very nice apartment, easy walk to the village centre, beach and restaurants. Some great walks from the door along the spectacular coast. Gianni (the host) was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great place for a relaxing holiday.

Amazing location nestled inside a garden, lemon tree and olive tree grove. It felt very peaceful and remote but also not more than a 15 minute walk into town. An airbnb unlike any other I’ve stayed in and you just have to go to experience it! Be wary of very steep inclines and declines when walking to and from town.

Claudia’s place is in a small village on the hills above Levanto. It feels like home. She put care & thought into it. It’s a 45min walk from Levanto but there is a bus that runs a few times p/d. Cinque Terre is a 15min train ride from Levanto. Levanto is a lovely beach town. Claudia is a real gem. She picked me up from the station, took me to an atm & grocery store before dropping me off at her place. She also took me to the station at the end of my stay. My only issue was that the man in a neighbouring apartment was inappropriate & harassed me. Claudia handled the situation wonderfully. She was supportive, believed me & addressed it directly with him. She undertook to further address it. My stay would’ve been perfect had it not been for him. My advice before booking (esp. if you’re a female &/solo traveller) is to ask Claudia if the issue has been addressed & the measures put in place to prevent this. Claudia and her place deserves 5 stars. The issue was out of her control.
