The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Our house, which is over 130 m², consists of a large living room, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, 3 bedrooms including a master suite with a spa bath, an office, a shower room, a bathroom and a laundry room. The ideal place for a holiday with family or friends, and with your pet.

Place of rest, daydreaming or on the contrary conducive to a more sporty life with the proximity of the GR, fishing, canoeing, climbing, horseback riding…. Not far from Cordes-sur-Ciel, voted the most beautiful village in France. 45 minutes from Toulouse, 35 minutes from Albi.
