“This place is better than the pictures! A wonderful quick getaway from the city for us. It's really cozy and decorated with lots of artsy details. Lots of thoughtful amenities such as toiletries like face wipes, a cheeseboard in the kitchen nook, and a flashlight for going outside. The backyard sitting area features a super charming garden and woods view and kitties. Great location just a few minutes down the road from The Plains, which has a number of eateries and a coffee house and just a touch further brings you to Warrenton, which has lots of restaurant options and a great bookshop (The Open Book). Also close by is Hollin Farm, great for U-Pick fruits and veggies. Beautiful country roads all around.”
Sweeping views of Ashby's Gap just minutes away from Upperville and Middleburg, 1 hour outside of DC. Newly renovated with a vintage flair, private and secluded. Ideal weekend get-away for couples, come sample the best the Piedmont has to offer!
“Ashby's Perch is a wonderful spot to disconnect and is a quick drive from DC. The cottage is full of very stylish touches, has a wonderful kitchen for cooking and beautiful views. Our favorite moments were sitting on the Adirondack chairs with our morning coffee. It is a quick drive to Sky Meadows State Park where there are plenty of wonderful hiking trails. We will be recommending to others!”
Historic, renovated, train station in the heart of Virginia hunt and wine country. This private oasis sits on the second floor above three gorgeous art studios belonging to local artists. Enroll in an art workshop, enjoy twilight polo and horse races at Great Meadows, or find yourself having a romantic dinner in our little village of The Plains.
“Caro's place is the epitome of an authentic experience. The apartment is lovely, comfortable, and historic. Nice touches, too -- coffee, muffins, Perriers! It's an old train station that stopped being used in the 1940s, but the train still runs by. It's quirky and fun IMHO. Beautiful art studios below. Stairs to the apartment are steep-ish, so if you over imbibe, be careful! Cute restaurants and shops within walking distance and close to Middleburg and Marshall. Toot!”
