The location is ideal for day trips: about 25 minutes to Lübeck, 40 minutes to Schwerin, 45 minutes to the Baltic Sea beach or 50 minutes to Hamburg City.

The Baltic Sea beach is about 800 m away and direct access to the sea via the "Devil's Gorge" is 300 m. Sports, leisure and shopping are abundant in the village. On the terrace you can sometimes see the sea through the treetops and enjoy romantic sunsets.
