Modernist Chalet in the middle of the Forest

3000 m2 site surrounded by an Atlantic Forest in a protected area. The main house is a modernist chalet designed in 1962 by architect and artist Levy Menezes (1922-1991). The property is within the Itatiaia National Park. To access Guapuruvu Residency, you must identify yourself at the Park entrance as a residential visitor. Space not suitable for children and the elderly. Pets are not permitted in the Park. Satellite Internet.

We are 1 km from the center of Penedo, 800 meters from the Finnish Museum and the chocolate factory and 7.8 km from the Alambari sawmill. And also close to the beautiful waterfalls of Penedo. New house, newly built (2024), accommodates up to 4 people with comfort and convenience. In the heart of Penedo, we are in the upper part of the Center, close to the Finnish Museum. With an amazing view of Pico do Penedinho, the mountain where the history of Penedo began. - We provide all bedding (sheet, bedspread, blanket, quilt and 1 pillow per guest); - Bath and face towels are provided for the entire stay.
