You can park the cars and move around easily on foot to enjoy the small, very commercial town, the leisure activities of the lake and the municipal swimming pool right next door. Finally, the cities of Carcassonne and Albi, both classified as UNESCO World Heritage sites, are less than an hour from the house.

The Duck Shed, a retreat to explore from.

A pretty colonial style self catering chalet, with a three sided terrace, in the beautiful undulating countryside near Lautrec. The Duck Shed shares the two hectares green space with the main farmhouse, outbuildings and numerous large trees. The building is self sufficient, designed for two people but with a convertible double sofa in the living area. It is clad with beautiful old walnut planks and is a picture of serenity. The decor is simple and characterful, modern with warmth and charm.

Les deux gîtes à votre disposition, rénovés avec soin dans une ferme abbatiale du XVIIe siècle, peuvent accueillir jusqu’à 20 personnes. Profitez de la piscine, laissez-vous bercer par le chant des oiseaux, respirez l’air pur : c’est l’endroit rêvé pour se retrouver, se reposer, partager de bons repas, et simplement profiter.

In the heart of the Lauragais, in the middle of the sunflower fields and away from the village, in an unspoiled and serene setting, come and explore a haven of serenity. This Lauragaise mansion, steeped in history and recently renovated, perfectly combines the charm of yesteryear and modern amenities. You will stay in an independent and entirely private cottage of 80 m², adjoining our house. Entrance and outdoor areas reserved. Cats, horses, and chickens are part of the scenery 🙂

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

The renovated, bright and warm living rooms open onto superb views of the river or the mountain.
