In the rest of the year, it is great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more. The sauna and hot tub require preparation. If you want to use them, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you can use in summer by arrangement.

Lovingly renovated apartment in old water mill

At the foot of the Frauenberg, right on the river Fulda, we rent out a vacation apartment in our historic water mill that was renovated in 2021 with up to four sleeping options in two separate bedrooms. Located on the outskirts of Fulda, the city center can be reached on foot (about 20 minutes) or by bike. Our large farm also offers free parking. Shopping can be reached within a 2-minute walk. On the farm, there are two lively, friendly dogs.

A bike path is directly in front of the house, it is a 3 minute walk to the center / shore. Also, hiking trails within the vineyards are close by. I am happy to suggest great places to hike, dine, have fun and relax during your stay. The city of Würzburg is about 30km away.

Our newly completed holiday apartment is located in the middle of an old mill estate, surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Lauertal. With great attention to detail and in keeping with the motto 'Old meets New', we transformed an old barn into a cosy holiday retreat.
