From the moment you open the substantial front door, Mother Nature invites you in with a sweeping vista of the tree-lined limestone cliffs across the way and lush plant life blooming all around. Droves of doves and swifts constantly coo and dart their way back and forth across the expansive sky above, roosters crow, church bells chime, and the Orbieu River provides soothing background music around the clock as it continues to flow by the rocky beach and garden terrace just below.

The house is situated in the beautiful medieval village of Lagrasse with its cobbled streets, quiet squares, 8th century abbey and very own river beach for swimming all a short walk away. The house, is centrally placed in a quiet road with no through traffic. There is excellent wifi throughout the house. A fully equipped kitchen/dining room. Two double bedrooms, one of which has 2 additional double sofa beds and a desk for home working. A modern bathroom with large shower.

If you love nature, this mobile home is perfect for you. Set on a 2-hectare plot, you’ll enjoy an exceptional view of the Alaric. A wonderful swimming spot awaits you 2 km away in the village of Ribaute. For hiking enthusiasts, there are numerous trails nearby, including the GR 36. The beach is 40 minutes away, as is the mediaeval city of Carcassonne. The shared swimming pool is available from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Ideal for a few days, this contemporary styled ground floor studio apartment is 25m², has a fully equipped kitchen area and en suite shower room. No early check-in or late check out possible, and please note that it is not suitable for babies and children.

Type 2 accommodation in a village house. (1st and 2nd floor.) It consists of a living room with kitchenette, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. No terrace but it is a few steps from the Ribaute River, its natural areas and picnic tables. You will be in the heart of the small village of Ribaute, 5 minutes from the village of Lagrasse and its Abbey.
