We are located in the historic centre of Lagrasse ‘village classé’ listed among the most beautiful of France. Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood-burning stove for the winter. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

From the moment you open the substantial front door, Mother Nature invites you in with a sweeping vista of the tree-lined limestone cliffs across the way and lush plant life blooming all around. The beach is 40 minutes away, as is the mediaeval city of Carcassonne. The shared swimming pool is available from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

No early check-in or late check out possible, and please note that it is not suitable for babies and children.

You will be in the heart of the small village of Ribaute, 5 minutes from the village of Lagrasse and its Abbey.
