Monthly Rentals in Ribeira de João Gomes

We stayed here for 7 days and absolutely loved it. The Airbnb looks exactly like the pictures and everything was clean and tidy. The two balconies are a huge plus for relaxed evenings. The accommodation is only 10-15 minutes away from the city center by foot (although it’s on a steep hill, so be prepared for a little workout). The kitchen was stocked with all needed utensils, even lunchboxes. We can definitely recommend this accommodation and will be back!

Helena’s place is stunning. Great views over Funchal harbour from her balcony. Extremely clean well equipped apartment with small additional thoughtful touches . Swimming pool was lovely and surrounding gardens were picturesque. I would highly recommend and would happily stay there again x

We very much enjoyed our week in Funchal staying in Afonso’s apartment. It’s a sixth floor penthouse with great views across the old town and the harbour. Very easy to walk to anywhere in centre of the town including shops, bars and restaurants. Quiet too with a superb terrace. Absolutely fine for a couple or a party of three or four. Afonso was a really good host with good local knowledge of venues and services. he met us on arrival and responded swiftly to any queries we had Would recommend this apartment to others.

We had a fantastic time at Pedro's apartment. The flat is spacious and well equipped. Pedro welcomed us very kindly and showed us around the apartment and the nearby neighborhood. In addition, we are well informed by him about nice locations to visit and good eateries. Great base to explore the whole island, within walking distance of downtown. In short, recommended for a pleasant stay in beautiful Madeira!
