This tiny cottage is nestled behind an old farm house on a 100 acre working farm just 25 mins south of Downtown Dallas. The 200 square foot space features a detached / shared bathroom connected by the front porch with beautiful stock tank soaker tub. Inside there is a bunk-room complete with full and twin size beds, a cozy loft with a queen mattress, and quaint living room with futon, electric kettle, microwave, and mini fridge. If you need a place to escape the hustle and bustle this is it!

Enjoy the solitude of this little chic retreat! Waterfront views of egrets, pelicans, birds & sunsets will definitely refresh your soul during your stay. The Bunkhouse offers a comfy two bedroom, one bath, full kitchen guest quarters, a roomy porch, firepit, fishing, and simple relaxing right next to pastures of cattle, roosters crowing, and our own ranch market. Secluded pastures offer quiet walks while the night skies are filled with stars and fireflies. Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.
