This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. Located in the center of Richmond, Vermont you are literally footsteps or a short peddle away from restaurants, breweries, trails, swimming holes, and more. After ski season, comes Vermont's gorgeous spring, summer and fall. From this chic mountainside retreat you'll enjoy beautiful vistas and the calming sounds of the babbling brook from the balcony. Step outside and there's so much to do: hiking & mountain bike trails, disc golf, Summer Concert Series: "Live Music on the Lawn," and leaf peeping in the fall. This studio allows you to escape the hustle and bustle - but is still centrally located between Burlington and Waterbury/Stowe.

Located in a mature, walkable Shelburne neighborhood, this sun-filled walkout basement suite is spacious and has a separate entrance. There is a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, an oversized living room that includes a ping pong table for your enjoyment. The mini-kitchen includes a microwave, toaster oven, mini-fridge, sink, and Keurig machine. During the warmer months, relax on the patio just outside the unit and enjoy comfortable dining outdoors.
